🌍 We are pleased to be present at the Net-Zero #Banking Alliance ‘Cement Working Group Roundtable’ on 'Unlocking Progress towards Net-Zero in Cement Portfolios' in Amsterdam led by the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative @UNEP_FI and hosted by @ING_news

✅ The event brings together over 15 Banks from Europe, Asia and Latin America to engage with key cement and global organisations to explore solutions to current cement portfolio #decarbonisation bottlenecks.

🌱 Our CEO, Thomas Guillot, presented our GCCA 2050 #NetZero Roadmap and initiatives to accelerate decarbonisation. He also highlighted the opportunities and key challenges in the sector, the importance of effective engagement at a global level and the need for standardisation to monitor and track the progress in the sector.

🌱 Abhishek Shukla, our Sustainability Manager, presented our GCCA GNR Data and discussed the GCCA Cement CO2 and Energy Protocol which is a comprehensive tool for Scope 1 and 2 emissions calculations in cement.
