@oglibate@wayofftheres@siegmeow96 Do you think burning minority homes and businesses is fighting for your country? No, you point your anger towards the people who made the problems in the first place. The state. Attack constituency offices and government buildings, not people’s fucking cars.
@wayofftheres@siegmeow96 You have no idea what you’re suggesting here. This was and is a very real threat for police in NI. Wind your fucking neck in you cunt
When Ballymena rioted against the Roma community - ironically exactly a year ago yesterday - an estimated 60-70% of Roma and Romanian families left Ballymena. The town does feel safer, especially in and around the Clonavon area.
It could’ve been avoided if politicians started listening to people and trying to create a genuine solution for the most complex issue earlier.
Look, unless you lived in Ballymena you dont get it. I condemned what happened, but being from there, the Roma people were a problem. For years. As much as I don’t agree with vigilante justice, they estimate around 70% of the Roma community left Ballymena and there’s been far less problems since.
Friendly Reminder: Migrants and migrant owned businesses aren’t at fault for Belfast, the politicians are. If you go to a protest and feel the need to cause some damage, there’s a wide range of government buildings, MLA Constituency offices or other government infrastructure that’s available.
@paulgilly@ReformedMedia_ Water Cannons are only banned in Great Britain, not Northern Ireland.
Ireland only brought in water canons in 2023, until then, they borrowed the PSNI’s.
There was a massive march against femicide like two weeks ago in Belfast. There have been thousands of protests against paramilitaries and the chaos they cause in their communities.
Therefore, you’re either the most sheltered person in Northern Ireland, or you’re purposefully choosing to ignore the reality.
@secndballFC@WestHam_Central What the fuck are you supposed to compare? Because Bruno is still 1st in the league in almost every metric apart from goals scored
