Nobody's saying it, so I will:
Grok 4.5 High and GPT-5.6 Sol High chew through quota.
Opus 4.8 High sips it.
We got sold on the hype.
They're not the leap they claimed to be.
While Grok 4.5 is great, there is one issue:
It burns through your quota very quickly.
I ran just 3 or 4 small tasks in Hermes, and I’ve already used up 17% of my weekly allowance.
In terms of quota, Claude undoubtedly offers the most—provided your account doesn't get banned.
Grok 4.5 is excellent.
It is incredibly fast and delivers high-quality results when modifying code and completing tasks on the server.
It would be even better if a standalone GUI—similar to the Claude client or Codex—were released in the future!
Looking forward to seeing it get even better!

@claudeai Claude’s emails crack me up.
* “Fable 5 is here! Come try it.”
* “Actually, you need identity verification.”
* “It’s back, but it’s not included in the paid plan.”
* “Okay, it’s included until July 7.”
* “Correction: it’s included until July 12.”
GPT Plus vs Claude Pro at the Same Price Point
GPT Plus gives you just enough usage for a few tasks, but in real-world use, the actual allowance feels very limited. Its processing speed also does not feel as efficient as Claude.
The advantage is that OpenAI often launches temporary promotions or usage resets, but honestly, for an AI company, this kind of approach can feel a bit cheap.
Claude Pro, on the other hand, offers a much more substantial usage allowance. It handles tasks very efficiently, delivers a smoother experience, and feels genuinely smart. The downside is that account bans are much stricter.
In the end, both companies have their own strengths and weaknesses.
