@ScottyTidwell Garrett’s video:
He believed that everyone would love everything we did since we are Good good…We knew it was terrible, but we thought that didn’t matter. We wanted to sell parents our fake drivers to their kids. Now, I’m losing everything, so please don’t destroy our company.
I’m gonna say it — this Good Good situation is getting ridiculous.
Was the ad a mistake? 100%. Call it out. Hold them accountable. They apologized and owned it.
But now we’re talking about Callaway dropping them and their PGA TOUR involvement falling apart over ONE bad decision?
When did we decide that making a mistake means everything you’ve built has to be erased?
Cancel culture hasn’t helped us. It never will.
People fuck up. Companies fuck up. The whole point should be learning from it and becoming better — not immediately trying to destroy everything someone has built.
And let’s not pretend Good Good hasn’t been MASSIVE for golf. They’ve brought an entire generation of people into this game who probably wouldn’t give a shit about traditional golf coverage.
You can think the ad was wrong AND think this reaction is too much. Both can be true.
Accountability? Absolutely.
But people deserve a chance to learn from their mistakes too.
This is a big deal for golf, and I think we’re going to be talking about it for a while.

The TOUR Championship is exactly what golf needs right now.
30 of the best players from this season. No staggered strokes. No excuses. 72 holes to decide who takes the FedExCup.
This is where I want to see who actually shows up when the pressure is at its highest.
East Lake. $10M on the line. One last chance to finish the season on top.
Who you got? 👀⛳️
Maybe Hovland? Colin Morikawa was hot last week… Who knows..

@NOTdaRealGil@NOTdaRealGil I agree phrasing is key. Inflection key. Tonality key. He does not care about anything other than saving @goodgood_golf from the shit storm
Still could have not been posted… @Callaway@goodgood_golf
Once you made the ad, watched the ad, then you posted the ad… that’s where the problem is someone OK’d it. Not just the women getting decked it’s how stupid it was all around.
