When painting with a broad brush then it's easy to loose sight of the idea that peoples past is not who they are in the moment. the feeling of taking power back and getting immediate results is a good one for anyone.

@liatwintelle I am more than in favor of holding people accountable for their past actions and decisions. But weilding it like a weapon just makes people afraid to own up to their past and thus makes it harder for others and themselves to learn from it.
