If you want to join me in making sure these Supreme Court assholes keep their grubby hands off Planned Parenthood, please consider a small donation that will be MATCHED. Let’s make sure women have access to safe abortions before it’s too late. 👇

The fact that FIVE PEOPLE can tell 167,500,000 women in America what they can and cannot do with their own bodies is a f*cking travesty.

#WorldPoetryDay | "The Garden” by Franta Bass.

Franta was a Czech Jewish boy born in Brno on 4 September 1930, deported to Theresienstadt ghetto on 2 December 1941 (the poem was written in the ghetto) and murdered in #Auschwitz on 30 October 1944.

#WorldPoetryDay | "First they came ..." is the poetic form of a post-war confessional prose by the German Lutheran pastor Martin Niemöller. It deals with themes of persecution, guilt, repentance, and personal responsibility.

[Amanda Gorman @TheAmandaGorman]

“Poetry is not a luxury. It is a vital necessity of our existence. It forms the quality of the light within which we predicate our hopes & dreams toward survival & change, first made into language, then into idea, then into more tangible action.” —Audre Lorde #WorldPoetryDay

We had some amazing discussions in today’s Socratic Seminar in our English 10 Honors classes. Great questions and respectful responses. I thoroughly enjoyed listening. #rangerpride #neversettle #englishteacherlife #SHS #letstalkaboutit

The truth…

Nothing motivates your husband to fix the clogged drain more than telling him you’re going to watch a YouTube video and fix it yourself. #dyi #motivation #tiredofasking

We have higher standards for game show hosts than for Members of Congress, definitely a sign of a healthy society with its priorities in order

@MrsDMaths I personally never have worn shorts underneath dresses or shirts, but my daughter always has and feels weird when she doesn’t. It’s definitely a comfort thing.
