It is considered poor etiquette to be openly or aggressively timing splits for another team's runners in xc, especially if they are rivals. Especially if you don’t have a team in that particular race…….just saying. That’s the nice way to say, it’s very tacky.

The MAIS has decided that they will be a participation league! Everyone gets a trophy!

13.4% of the teams playing 11-man football in the MAIS next year will win a state title.

-3 state titles for 20 teams in 4A (15% win a title)
-2 state titles for 16 teams in 3A (12.5% win a title)
-2 state titles for 16 teams in 2A (12.5% win a title)

129 athletes/Relays in the MSAIS with top 8 performances for their respective class last week will not be in the State meet because they were in the stronger region. 189 in the MHSAA. Significant differences in some marks that qualified and that did not qualify.
