My least favourite thing is when the narrator makes it a point to mention an MC is clever while making zero effort to SHOW cleverness. Clever characters are very hard to write. This is why I firmly believe we should all write dumbasses unless we can convincingly write a genius

2022 was one of the worst years ever, and I think that was very clear from my continuous disappearances.

2023 (so far) has been the most refreshing and really made me think about who I want to be.

And I want to be present and writing and open.

Just want to throw this out there - if your book reads 'She wasn't like other girls' or 'They realised she wasn't like the others' then I will immediately put it down.

Why do we constantly tear down other people to build ourselves up? Can we not just be nice about everyone?
