Did you know I recently started a YouTube channel to spread information about non-pharmacological management of #headache and #migraine disorders?

I have trouble finding my number on @twilio so i emailed them. less than 10 minutes later I get an email I'm in a negative balance (positive $ before the email), and told my account was suspended and my number wont work...
but my number still works? What is going on @twilio ?!
Many seniors & people with disabilities rely on telehealth services to receive headache care. By making #telehealth flexibilities permanent, we can ensure that this expanded access continues.
We urge Congress to pass the Connect for Health Act. #HOH2024 https://t.co/LNPwXXMPy0
As a PT helping those with migraine & headache disorders, I’ve joined advocates for Fall 2024’s #HeadacheOnTheHill to push for key legislative changes. We're supporting the Safe Step Act, Chronic Pain Research, and expanded telehealth! #HOH2024#migraine#headache@AHDAorg
@IsaidNae This is where a strong interdisciplinary team approach is so important. Getting on theright medical plan to help control attacks
There are also ways to start exercise while having daily symptoms. It is challenging to get started but can be done
I think exercise is the most under utilized strategy for long-term #headache management
It has the potential to have the greatest impact on a persons overall health, wellbeing, and quality of life.
#migraine
@acoccojr PEH does make it very challenging, but that doesn't mean impossible.
This is where establishing an optimal exercise dosage and working with someone that can help to gradual progress an exercise program is so critical
@DevonMarks4 When exercise prescription is done properly the initial stage of exacerbation can be avoid, kept to a minimum
Exercise needs to be treated like a medication. I rarely see patients experience an exacerbation bc we find the optimal dosage to start that limits side effects.
Pet peeve of mine…
The cervical spine does not retract. Chin tucks do not cause cervical retraction
It’s lower cervical extension with upper cervical flexion.

I saw another generalized post/blog about stretching for #migraine…
its just the same regurgitated nonsense that provides relatively useless info that is in no way evidenced based!
Fact: Studies show that strengthening exercises are more effective than stretching
I really hate seeing reels “reminding” those with headaches or migraine to stretch their neck
Stretching the neck isnt needed for all w/ migraine. neck pain or tightness doesnt mean you need to stretch
for some w/ migraine, stretching can make them worse and even be dangerous!
