And here are some more pictures. Anyway, no idea if anyone is still on this awful site, I'm not. Happy new year, stragglers and social media account managers ;) (2/2)
My 2024 gingerbread build is a tribute to the excellent new #oxventure dnd campaign, wyrdwood. Now, look, it's *supposed* to be a city in a giant tree, but because of the limitations of gingerbread it's more of an overconfident treehouse lol (1/2) #gingerbreadhouse@Oxventure
I solved a memory leak in an api we manage this week and now I just go in to look at the memory allocation graph from time to time to cheer myself up π It's the little things
@Keyareuhhhh @CrankyMeatball @abigail_fekete @crotchner2 They have a swedish flag in their pic so there might be a cultural aspect. Marriage is just not a big deal here. Lots of people live together for years (swedish has a word for live-in partner), sometimes even engaged and w kids. But maybe they just like swedish meatballs idk
And last but mot least, my bayueux tapestry inspired embroideries. The Bumble Tapestry, immortalising pne of the guild's great adventures. These took... a while π
That's it from me. Looking forward to the final season now π
In preparation / celebration of @Oxventure upcoming final season, I'm adding a thread with fanart I've done for the show over the years. Thanks for the inspiration brave-ish heroes!
Starting with the joyful damnation gingerbread ship, the debut I never managed to beat

Work just had us standing with our hands on our arms for ages just to be asked to move them slightly and consider how it felt. apparently it was about resisting change π
I walked off screen and sat down even though it meant walking away from the candy. The hero pays the price
Well it's that time of the year again when I return to the empty shell once known as twitter to share my yearly #gingerbreadhouse. This year it's a British haunted mansion populated by sugarpaste versions of #LockwoodandCo . More pictures in π§΅
Every once in a while the gaming community comes together in pure and uninhibited bafflement, beyond all console wars, bitterness over embarasssing game launches and easy mode controversies. This is one of those times.
@mattcolville I think this depends on the game. Is it trying to tell a story about the main character or through it? How much of a player insert is it supposed to be? If it primarily functions as an extension of the player I think it needs to be a mostly blank slate.
@BadWritingTakes The fact that I immediately recogise this after not having read it in twenty years π Granted i was kind of obsessed and have listened to the radio play more recently, but still
