The Pink Unicorn Glutathione: Turns Out the Glutathione Was the Mythical Part
Shirayuki Japan Glutathione is a pink “beauty gluta” from the Philippines that has developed a considerable following online. Known as the Pink Unicorn, it's advertised for skin whitening and promoted as particularly difficult to obtain.
But people using it had already begun noticing that it didn't appear to be doing anything. Two failed identity tests may explain why.
The product is advertised as containing 180,000 mg of glutathione across 40 vials, alongside vitamin C, amino acids, kojic acid, thioctic acid, tranexamic acid, collagen extract, hyaluronic acid and several other ingredients. The seller also confirmed that it is intended for IV use, not intramuscular injection.
Two separately submitted samples have now failed identity testing at Freedom Diagnostics.
The first COA, issued on 16 September, identified cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) only and the second COA, issued on 24 September, identified pyridoxine (vitamin B6) and cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12).
That is particularly concerning when the product is being promoted for intravenous administration. Neither report shown includes a sterility or endotoxin result, and the microbial PCR result reported for one sample doesn't alter the failed chemical identity.
The Pink Unicorn was always supposed to be difficult to find. Nobody expected the glutathione to be the part that had disappeared!
The bad results keep dripping in for this poor customer. She's already had zero MotsC and underdosed KPV but now she's just received a zero AOD result and a 89.08% purity BPC. Still waiting on the CJC/IPA result
And looks like Finnrick has employed a new testing lab: IChor Life Sciences. Anyone heard of them ?
Thirteen “Manufacturers.” Three Tests. Thirty-Nine COAs.
The certificates verify. Their independence does not.
There are actually 13 vendor names across these COAs, not 12. However, 12 of their websites expose the same administrator.
ResearchVerify identified three consecutive blocks of Janoshik reports:
Tirzepatide: tasks 216116–216128
Every report: 99.453% purity and 21.95 mg
Retatrutide: tasks 216129–216141
Every report: 99.535% purity and 22.59 mg
MOTS-c: tasks 216142–216154
Every report: 98.872% purity and 11.32 mg
All 39 reports use batch “2026” and were analysed on 5 August 2026.
Each vendor has its own Janoshik task number and verification key, so these don't appear to be crudely edited PDFs. They're genuine entries in Janoshik’s verification system.
But they're not 39 independent analytical results.
For each compound, 13 supposedly separate vendors received the exact same purity and content measurements. ResearchVerify classifies them as fingerprint duplicates: the same laboratory, compound, purity, content and test date appearing under multiple vendor names.
In other words, the same analytical result appears to have been issued under 13 different brands.
The websites make the relationship even clearer. Twelve of the 13 expose the same WordPress account:
[email protected]
The account has the same public user slug and Gravatar fingerprint across Apeptix, Ascend, Nexpep, NovaPeptide, Peponte, Peptnex, Pepvita, Pepvor, Prime Biologics, Verpep, Zenova and Zypep.
Glorypeptide is the only exception, although it still appears inside all three consecutive COA blocks.
The timing is particularly revealing. The reports say the jobs were ordered on 30 July and the samples received on 31 July. Zypep, Pepvor, Verpep and Peponte didn't even have registered domains until 2 August. Those four domains were created one after another within 69 minutes, with their first website pages appearing minutes later under the shared administrator.
There are also visible remnants of copying between the brands. Zypep’s website still carries a copyright notice belonging to Pepvita.
What this shows is that these are not 13 independent manufacturers presenting 13 independent tests.
The most credible explanation is a centrally coordinated white-label network using one shared website operation and the same testing package across multiple newly created brands.
What's going on? Two large discrepancies between Freedom and ILS and Freedom and Pacific Ocean Biologics which both produced a zero result vs Freedoms's pass
