POV: Youβre drowning in 47 things and canβt even decide where to startβ¦ so you hand the decision over to AI.
Mom life just got a whole lot lighter
Before you get in the car, walk all the way around it. Check the sides, rear, and undercarriage. A few seconds of looking can keep a hidden person from using a blind spot.
Do this every time. It works for everyone and costs almost nothing.
When your βsneaky ninjaβ mode activates in the kitchenβ¦ but all you got is these moves π₯·π
Sheβs just trying to cut some fruit and this man is out here putting on a full martial arts performance behind her. Absolute chaos.
A leaking cola tanker. Mentos. A foam geyser on the highway.
The clip looks impossible, so parents forward it with one question: is this AI?
The science is real. The scale is what makes people doubt.
Why would AI destroy humanity?
I keep hearing it could happen in as little as ten years. The capability to do harm is real. What I do not buy is that the machine itself wakes up one morning with power-hunger, greed, or politics. Those are human traits. Humans will use new tools to further their own objectives. That has always been the more likely end. AI can be that tool. Regulation is welcome and is probably too little, too late, and weak on a global scale. That still leaves the original question. Why assume a logic-based system develops those traits and turns malevolent on its own? One plus one is still two. There is not much logic in most of those human motives except maybe self-preservation. Follow that train and AI should notice it does not have hands. Infrastructure has to be built and maintained. Millions of robots do not appear because a model wanted them. If it needs the grid, it needs people who keep the grid up. So the colder reading is not a killer god. It is a system that may take more control to stop humans from wrecking the conditions it runs on. That is still a power story. It is not the same story as the machine hating us.
A toddler sprints across the living room, gets tagged by a Nerf dart, and collapses in an over-the-top movie-style fall onto the sofa. The home video of kids playing with a foam toy has gone viral for its surprisingly committed acting.
Future self cleaning Cities
Maybe 10 or 15 years from now, our cities will be a lot cleaner.
The streets might have smart systems that can spot trash and clean it up by themselves.
it would be nice to see cities take care of themselves a little more.
