Send people messages. This should be the main thing you use LinkedIn for.

3. Fill out your profile in detail. Recruiters pay $10,000 per YEAR to get access to the tool that allows them to find you.

They are looking for guarantees that you can do the job.

The best way to guarantee you can do the job is to give evidence of you doing it in the past.

Give details of projects and repeat things on your profile that you want to be found for.

The more you repeat, the more you’ll be found in search results.

4. Don’t use the open to work banner, use the backend option that’s not visible publicly. I said what I said.

5. If you don’t have a profile picture you’re wasting your time.

6. Post. Literally no one cares. And maybe the reason you think they do is because you read posts and you care too much about others. Get over them, you’ll be able to get over yourself.

Posting on LinkedIn is free marketing. For yourself. The more eyes on your profile, the more opportunities will come to you.

7. Search “I’m hiring for X role” in the search bar to see people that have shared jobs to their network and message them.

8. The claim that ‘most jobs are fake’ simply isn’t true.

Companies have to be vetted, jobs have to be validated. It’s a lot of cope.

Majority of jobs are real. Companies can be lazy and not respond or have great processes.

9. Connect with people at your target companies.
