Breaking Ground on Transformative Infrastructure in Kibokoni!
Today, I had the privilege of launching and breaking ground for the Kenya Informal Settlements Improvement Project (KISIP 2) in Kibokoni M17E. This project marks the start of significant infrastructure upgrades, including the construction of 2.2 km of roads, footpaths, drainage systems, and the installation of four solar-powered highmasts.
These developments are a crucial step toward improving the quality of life in our communities, uplifting livelihoods, and ensuring better infrastructure for all.
I was honored to be joined by leaders dedicated to this cause, including Hon. Amina Mnyazi, MP for Malindi, Hon. Gertrude Mbeyu, Women Representative, Hon. Harry Kombe, CECM Kilifi Department of Public Works, Roads and Transport Hon. Catherine Kenga, and Hon. Jane Kamto, CECM Kilifi Dept of Lands, Energy, Housing, Physical Planning & Urban Devt among others.
