@HoustonRockets@memorialhermann 21 points on 23 shots is not dominant, especially when the majority of your shots are 3 feet and in. Free throw % is also part of dominance. SMH
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Gene Peterson, who spent 33 years as the radio voice of the Houston Rockets from 1975 through 2008.
His career and signature “How sweet it is!” victory call spanned across many franchise moments that will forever live in the hearts and minds of Rockets fans. Peterson once told the Houston Chronicle, “I've watched the Rockets' family grow, and I've watched my own family grow through it all, and I know I've been blessed to live this life."
We will always cherish the memories Gene helped create for generations of Rockets fans and send our condolences to his beloved family.
What CJ Stroud accomplished Sunday:
🏈His 147.8 passer rating is the highest single-game passer rating by a rookie quarterback (minimum 30 attempts) in NFL history.
🏈His 470 passing yards are the most passing yards by a rookie in a game in NFL history.
🏈Became the youngest player ever with at least 450 passing yards in a game.
🏈Became just sixth player in NFL history to record at least 450 passing yards and five touchdown passes with no interceptions in a game.
@tedsux1@KBTXWeather Lines are moving west to east @tedsux1 per usual via weather patterns. Unfortunate to ruin your episode of Walker Texas Ranger. (Disingenuous is a stretch). Get a good nights rest unless the storms that Shel and co are warning you of keep you from sleeping 🙄
A scene in downtown Brenham circa 1910. My guess is that most of these buildings still stand but I'll be danged if I can figure out where, exactly, the photographer was standing when he took this photo.

Maybe it’s much too early in the game, but we’d thought we’d ask you just the same…What are you doing New Year’s Eve? 🎶 We’re ringing in the New Year with Austin faves @Bob_Schneider, @primothealien, and @BIGSkinnyATX 🎫 https://t.co/oAUye8c81N

I think we can officially say Jesus Ferreira over Ricardo Pepi was an insane roster decision.
I have no idea if Pepi would have made a difference today. But Ferreira didn’t play at all in the group and when he was forced to start with Sargent injury he was not what we needed.
