The artwork does not belong to me.
- Is something wrong, my dear?
*She stretches upward slightly to reach a book from the top shelf, then begins to flip through its pages.*
- ...Could it be that all this knowledge has made your head spin?~
โ โ Uhh? What--er. โ
She stumbles over her words, then averts her wide eyes, a turn of her head to the side soon to follow, looking away in embarrassment.
โ โ W-Was I staring, or something? S-, sorry. โ
*The Snake merely swayed its head from side to side*
- Who knows... Then again, I wouldnโt deny such a possibility. Both versions are valid. I suppose everyone is entitled to their own view.
"Chalk it up to your behavior around others then. Some may find it...agitating."
"Either that or the fact between you and Eblana, your personalities clash with one another."
- Iโll say one thing: everything comes at a price, my dear.
*For a while longer, the Snake watches from the sidelines, like a support crew, before finally composing himself completely.*
- And besides: some troubles are entirely man-made. Wouldnโt you agree?
"I may never get used to this. In my day, people used to die from almost anything, because we didnโt have the same facilities as we do now."
She merely nods in thanks, taking the towel and drying herself off.
*Observing this reaction, a sly smile appears on Snakeโs face - though it remains partially hidden behind her palm.*
- My, my... It seems youโve already gathered enough knowledge, havenโt you?~
โ โ 'Felt'?โฆ --Uh, I mean, you look... pretty nice in it, yeah. It, looks great on you. Um. What am I supposed to be feeling, though? โ
What she's feeling is plastered in red tint on her face... 'tricks' have slipped her mind.
*There was no longer any need to look for a towel; Snake Tail simply held it out closer to the person he was speaking with.*
- Itโs perfectly normal to grumble. We all have moments when we become vulnerable, moments when we donโt quite seem like ourselves.
"You grumble far too often for someone who finds it comforting. But never mind, breakfastโs already on the table and shouldnโt have gone cold yet."
She simply wipes the sweat from her forehead, looking for a towel to dry herself off properly.
*She just laughed into her palm, causing the plumage on her head to twitch slightly.*
- Fu-fu~... Honestly, I donโt consider it a burden at all. Iโm perfectly comfortable.
"At least youโll stop being so sluggish in the mornings."
Finally, the servant jumps down, landing on her feet and keeping an eye on tail.
"And perhaps your back will ache less, given the heavy loads you carry."
These words can be interpreted in two ways.
*The snake blinked a few times, though her familiar expression remained unchanged.*
โHmm? Would this work?โ
*With no intention of shaking off her morning languor just yet, she simply set her tail in motion; it began to coil and swirl across the floor, much like a snake itself.*
"I donโt even know which is worse. Although you could be a bit more proactive."
The Amazon isnโt in any hurry to roll over, but she manages to touch the snakeโs nose with her finger as her hand moves away from her face.
*Kukulcan stifled a yawn behind his palm, then gave a rather lazy nod.*
- Such are the times we live in, alas. Natural rhythms have given way to a set daily schedule~
@TheLastKukulkan "I donโt expect people these days to get up as early as we used to."
Hippolyta makes eye contact with the girl, though she herself is hanging upside down, having just been doing pull-ups and worked up a sweat in the process.
*Despite the clear hostility directed toward her, the Snake maintains her habitual smile.*
- Everything has its own causes and consequences~... Have you ever considered that someoneโs end might serve as a new beginning for someone else?
she's staring at her blankly, tail whipping against the ground as to try and display her dismay with this situation.
โ do you have a reason to follow me? โ
The Snake cast a glance at the waterโs surface, lingering for only a moment.
- I donโt deny that itโs dangerous. Fortunately, but Iโm in good company now~
@TheLastKukulkan
she's out by the oceans, almost .. patrolling?
before turning to spot ho'ol.
โ i'd be careful here .
it's almost a little sad i have to tell you this, but these oceans are extremely dangerous. โ
So many dark secrets hidden inside you... It makes me want to strip them away, layer by layer. Relax, I'll be gentle. Ready to see how far we can go tรชte-ร -tรชte?~
- Thatโs right. That was our dear Eblana~
For some reason, she took a dislike to me. ...I canโt even imagine why~
*She drawled, a hint of irony coloring her words*
*Well, well. Who is it that the Snake has spotted? As the saying goes: look who the devilโs dragged in...*
*One might even think theyโre about to start bickering again or worse. But no. The Snake leans forward just enough to catch the Dragonโs eye.* ๐
- What an encounter...
"Burned at the stake. What are you, a Leithanien witch? Genuinely I have no idea why anyone would try to burn you in such away."
He's just tapping his temples. Why would anyone even consider so?
- Fu-fu~... My dear, that is precisely what I was saying. Some things can only be felt. ๐
*The Serpent nodded in her characteristic manner, much like a teacher explaining material from a textbook.*
โOh no, I very much enjoy what Iโm seeing darlingโ Brandtโs answer was followed by a soft chuckle. That said, she was striking a rather special pose herself
โBut I must disagree with your statement that not everything can or should be understoodโ

- Do you think that when Victoria, Leithanien, and Ursus were carving up the Gallic lands, they spent much time weeping over the grandeur of the fallen?
Iโm sure you donโt consider death to be the end, and you should understand what this is leading to~โฅ
