AI tools and automations that do the boring marketing work for you. Honest breakdowns for marketers and small businesses. New tools every week, minus the hype.
Most AI tools won't make your marketing better. A few will save you hours every week.
I test new AI tools and automations for marketers and small businesses, and I only post what actually works.

Google Vids now makes 1080p AI video free with any Google account.
For a small business, that's a $0 source of promo clips and B-roll.
Here's the 6-step workflow I'd use for a first product promo, plus the limits to know before you rely on it.
Before you lean on it:
-Every AI clip carries a SynthID watermark
-Google hasn't published the free limits, so test one short promo first
-Photorealistic AI video needs the AI label on YouTube and Instagram

Shopify's new Canvas lets you redesign your store by chatting with its AI.
Before you try it:
- It works on a new or duplicated theme. Your live theme stays put
- No app blocks, Markets or translations yet
- Canvas themes don't get theme updates

7/ Step 6: Review before you trust it
Each session logs every step and tool call, so you can see what it did. Start in a test channel and keep approvals on, which is n8n's own advice for the preview.

6/ Step 5: Gate the send
Mark the email tool as sensitive. The agent pauses for Approve or Reject before it can run it.
Then put the agent on a morning schedule to flag any lead that hasn't had a reply yet.
@Shopify For small shops the real win is skipping the developer for small changes.
My test plan: duplicate the theme, have Sidekick rebuild one product page, compare it to the live one on mobile, and only then decide whether to switch.
@neilpatel The word doing the work here is "qualifies."
A bot that books everyone fills your calendar with bad fits. Answer instantly, send clear fits straight to booking, and route the fuzzy ones to a human the same day.
8/ The lesson: pick the smallest model that can make the decision.
Agents for open-ended work. Routers for yes/no and priority. Humans for the send.
I break down AI systems for marketers and small businesses. Follow for the next build.
7/ How to try it for $0 this week
