@Parzlive Yes, because they don't suit them.
The only "interesting" things we got in a racing game, was probably deploying our own Spike traps for Cops.
And this was in the Most Wanted 2 Beta, when it was still a Sequel to the MW from 2005 (and not a Sequel to Burnout).

Google is killing adblockers in Chrome by changing the technical rules for how they're allowed to work, making them too weak to actually block much.
The most popular adblocker, uBlock Origin, will stop working entirely. For millions of people, that's the only thing standing between them and a wall of ads, trackers, and autoplay videos.
Google says it's because of "security risks", but they're also the world's biggest ad company. Make of that what you will. #deGoogle
Valve is a "monopoly", because the users are genuinely satisfied with Steam and its sale offerings. Maybe other companies should take an example from Valve and not to be a bitch.
Forza odjeżdża w coraz większy absurd i arcadowość. Część twórców odchodzi i mówi, że zrobią lepszą grę, taką dla prawdziwych fanów motoryzacji.
Mija kilka lat i okazuje się, że to będzie gra o łapaniu się harpunem na zakrętach.

This isn't even Exactly AI-Upscaling either. Why?
Because Upscale would just make pixels bigger, by using the Original Data. NOT, try to make a missing hand for Donald, because it wasn't visible in the Original (but now it is because head moved a little).
So regarding the claims that Nomura used A.I to create this artwork, that is not what happened. It seems far more likely that the original artwork was drawn entirely by Nomura, but the version used for box art or promotional material was later upscaled using AI
You can see evidence of this in several places. For example, Donald's left hand is not even visible in the original low resolution artwork (Original artwork). In the upscaled version, however, AI appears to have filled in the missing details and gave him 5 fingers, despite Donald Duck as usually have four fingers
The same issue can be seen with the clock tower's hands. In the original artwork they appear normal, but in the AI upscaled version they become oddly curved and distorted, suggesting that the A.I was attempting to reconstruct details that were unclear in the source image
In short, the original artwork appears to be fully hand drawn by Nomura. The problems people are pointing to are the result of the A.I upscaling that introduced these errors. His art got DLSS 5'ed
New credentials attack on Google, it's a subtle one. The email actually comes from https://t.co/qmUt6syHRr. It informs you that your recovery contact (an email you don't recognize) is about to reset your password and prompts you to take action. There's a link that appears to point to https://t.co/pOKO2bTLeC but uses the continue URL parameter to redirect you to https://t.co/Ncvbz3poTV, which hosts the attacker's site. If you scroll down, you can see the bottom of the email, which just shows that someone is asking to add you as their recovery contact. The entire first part of the email is a user-controlled field in Google's system that the attacker controlled to include the malicious link and text.
Signal is 100% right.
The greatest trick governments ever pulled was convincing people that freedom and privacy are obstacles to safety.
What we are witnessing is not child protection. It is the construction of a surveillance architecture that will eventually monitor, profile, categorize and control every aspect of our digital lives.
Today it is age verification and content scanning, tomorrow it is digital identity, then financial monitoring, then behavioural scoring, then access to services conditioned on compliance.
The destination is not difficult to see. It is a technocratic system where every interaction is tracked, every transaction recorded, every opinion assessed and every citizen reduced to a data profile managed by governments and corporations working hand in hand.
A form of digital neo feudalism where a small unelected class controls the platforms, the infrastructure, the money and ultimately the boundaries of acceptable behaviour.
The argument that only criminals should fear surveillance is as absurd as saying only criminals need freedom of speech. Privacy is not evidence of wrongdoing, it is the foundation of human dignity, individual sovereignty and genuine liberty.
The UK government is asking citizens to accept the presumption of guilt simply to communicate online. To prove who they are, verify their age and allow their devices to inspect their content before they can participate in modern society.
History teaches us that every power granted to the state eventually expands beyond its initial mandate. The technology introduced to detect one form of content today will be used to police entirely different forms of expression tomorrow.
The choice before us is not between privacy and child protection, it is between preserving a free society, or constructing the infrastructure of a digital prison that will further enslave us.
why is it so hard for ppl to understand that ai isnt only bad bc it steals from artists and attempts to replace workers but also bc it has serious ramifications on the environment
Update about 1666 Amsterdam; they got caught using gen AI for both the cover art and in-game assets. They plan to patch out their oopsie so people will still buy it.
They haven't disclosed it's use on steam though, which I'm pretty sure is against steam's ToS. 👏
Użycie takiej kierownicy na normalnym układzie kierowniczym bez Steer by wire to totalna głupota i zaprzeczenie zasadom techniki bezpiecznej jazdy.
