After a few days of playing reworked Roadhog, here are my thoughts:
Trash Compactor is a fun ability that rewards gamesense and mechanics, it also adds a lot more sustain to his kit. For example, I can actually tank a Pharah ult, and previously that was pretty much a death sentence... I think this ability is far more interesting than "Pig Pen", but it will never compete (in terms of satisfaction) with Hog's old Secondary Fire, which heavily favored mechanical skill and positioning.

Scrap Gun is now a two-shot burst and can sometimes feel pretty non-threatening, but assuming you're landing your shots with good aim/tracking, it does feel good to land all the pellets. It is *sorta* fun to be able to flick-shot inbetween your two-shot burst, but like previously stated, old Secondary Fire is king... This version of Scrap Gun, definitely lacks range, and it sorta sucks in that regard. Trash Compactor is how you'll be doing most damage from range.

Hog's perks are mostly all pretty bad, with the exception of "Here, Piggy Piggy". The things you can do with this perk (assuming you have your ult) are pretty insane. Just use "Here, Piggy Piggy" and "Hogdrogen Exposure" in both 5v5 and 6v6, the other 2 perks are pretty useless.

Hook is still Hook, so there's nothing really to add here. The 4.5m Final Pull Distance does allow for more environmental kill angles, but it also makes some harder... What really is important is what comes after you hook an enemy: most of the time they'll get to live, but there are a few times where you're able to do the one-shot combo successfully (a bit clunky though).

So, overall I can see the vision with this current kit, and no I don't think the numbers are exactly where they should be, probably going to be buffed... but the question is, buff what? I personally think buffing the fire rate of the gun is the move, since the power-spike of getting a pick with Hook is essentially gone, Hog will need to be more threatening when you're close to him. (no, buffing fire rate doesn't make the one-shot combo easier since the two-shot burst will remain).

There are other issues with the kit that should be fixed, such as: when you're using Whole Hog, and you use Take-a-Breather at the last second of the ult, it will cancel your Take-A-Breather and put it on cooldown. There's a few other things in this version where it feels like you're just in "ability lockout", having to wait for abilities to fully end if you wanna use another ability. So I think a lot of quality of life changes are needed to make using different abilities a lot more smoother.

also yes if I had a big button on my desk to go back to old Hog i would obviously press it. i'm just adapting to the current patch of the game.

The more in your face the naked bodies in lewd art are, the less appealing it becomes

Booba bulging in full display and asses ballooning to ridiculous proportions stops being erotic and starts becoming biology and anatomy to me

→ No longer is critical immune while active.
Deliverance:
→ Drone Fire Rate increased from 4 to 5.
→ Overhealth and debuff duration reduced from 8 to 6 seconds.
→ Decay duration reduced from 5 to 4 seconds.
Transfusion (Major Perk):
→ Damage and healing conversion rate reduced by 50%.

Sound Barrier:
→ Duration increased from 5 to 6 seconds.
Beat Drop (Minor Perk):
→ Amp It Up is now active for 4 seconds after casting Sound Barrier.
