@JackCraka114646@cleiton_leitor@D4hz4hn This, the batman got me to read comics and while those animated adaptations would be great they wouldn't do anything interesting with source material. The best adaptations are the ones with something to say whilst still being true to the character and world.
@nunurbzn@RekhaaRani26@capeshitsuccs And superman is a literal multiversal constant that cant die in any permanent or meaningful way, aint none of that shit matters man😭
Idk who needs to hear this, but the same constitution that allows me to practice my Christianity in peace is also afforded to Muslims.
This is not your mother's country
A lot of comic book fans watch films with a checklist of things they want from adaptations instead of trying to see if it actively understands the core of the character.
@eustassvinsmoke Your acting as dcu batman is ready to go rn. There's no script, the "director" has no idea what's going on. This film was never gonna come out at time where what your talking about is a problem
@HazzardDylan@brandonjc_art You call it "grounded slop" which is just surface level Twitter lingo, where you literally take a very surface level aspect of a film and add "slop" at the end as if thats criticism or even a meaningful thing to say at all
@HazzardDylan@brandonjc_art This is the problem with comic book fans these days. All about comic accuracy not about how these adaptations use comics and the understanding and love of these characters to tell something different yet very much the same character and world in a meaningful way.
Matt Reeves is so selfish, how dare he deprive us of the worst Batman movie that is ever going to be made just so he can spend more time working on his Batman sequel that's actually going to be good
