Don’t let Satan make you doubt. He’s good at that. Doubt creates uncertainties in your heart & mind. It makes you feel uneasy & directionless. You need to anchor your faith firmly & take control of your life. The Almighty is always there to steady you & get you back on track.
I humbly appeal to everyone who can help: please come forward and support Faiz. Even a small contribution can make a difference and help give this young child another chance at life
Most traders learn trading completely backwards.
They spend years learning:
support
resistance
candlesticks
indicators
entries
Then CPI drops, gold moves $50, the dollar gets smashed…
and they’re on X 10 minutes later asking:
What happened?
Your chart showed you WHAT price did.
It didn’t necessarily tell you WHY billions of dollars suddenly moved.
And fundamentals really don’t need to be complicated.
Data changes.
That changes expectations.
Expectations change where money wants to go.
Money moves.
Then you get the candle.
That’s basically the entire game.
I’ve completely remade my fundamentals breakdown and stripped out all the economics-degree bullshit.
GDP. Inflation. Jobs. Rates. Central banks. Liquidity. Geopolitics. Currencies. Commodities.
All explained from one perspective:
Why did price actually move?
If you’ve always been technically decent but felt like you were missing the other half of the market, watch this.
BREAKDOWN BELOW!
The biggest macro signal this week wasn’t gold rallying.
It wasn’t the dollar falling either.
It was the fact that US yields became a problem big enough for the Treasury to respond, and the dollar still ended the week under pressure.
That deserves your attention.
For years traders have been conditioned to think:
Higher US yields = stronger dollar.
Except that relationship only works when yields are rising for the right reasons.
Strong growth. Strong economy. Fed tightening. Capital wants America.
That isn’t quite what we’re dealing with now.
US growth is showing cracks.
Jobs have weakened.
Retail sales have softened.
Consumers are becoming less confident.
Wage pressure is easing.
Yet inflation hasn’t conveniently disappeared, oil remains elevated and geopolitical risk is still sitting in the background.
So now you’ve got the beginnings of a really uncomfortable mix:
Slowing growth with inflation that refuses to die.
Stagflation risk.
And the Fed knows it.
They sat on their hands at the last meeting. They didn’t commit to another hiking cycle, despite clear inflation concerns.
Then the Treasury stepped in to increase long dated bond buybacks after yields blew higher.
And look at what happened.
Dollar sold.
Gold ripped.
That’s the bit I think people are sleeping on.
Because when investors demand higher yields because America is booming, that’s one thing.
When they demand higher yields because they want more compensation for inflation, debt, fiscal risk and uncertainty about holding that debt for 20 or 30 years…
That is a VERY different signal.
And if policymakers then start trying to suppress some of that pressure in the bond market, the adjustment has to go somewhere.
Increasingly, FX traders are asking whether that somewhere is the dollar.
Which also helps explain why gold continues to look so interesting.
Gold isn’t simply trading “inflation”.
It’s trading the dollar.
Real yields.
Geopolitical risk.
Fiscal credibility.
Confidence in sovereign debt.
And increasingly, the possibility that the Fed is being boxed into choosing between an inflation problem and a growth problem.
That’s why this market feels like it’s changing personality every 48 hours.
It is.
The regime is moving.
I spent some time this weekend writing the full breakdown, because understanding what’s happening between the dollar, gold, Treasuries and the Fed right now is far more useful than another fucking chart prediction.

Needless controversy on some unfortunate & unnecessary comments from our Iranian brothers could have vitiated cordiality between Pakistan & Iran, but good sense prevailed with clarification from Iran praising ‘wonderful people of Pakistan’! While people are entitled to their opinions, but FACTS should be paramount. For the benefit of our Iranian brothers, who may not be fully conversant of ALL FACTS regarding Pakistan’s relationship with Iran, let’s refresh their memory, especially since they need to understand that policy of goodwill towards Iran is State Policy of Pakistan, not just sentiments of ‘wonderful people of Pakistan’: 1) During recent US-Israeli aggression against Iran, Pakistan was first to condemn aggression against Iran, at home, & in UN Security Council, & ONLY country in the world to declare officially Day of National Mourning for assassination of Supreme Leader of Iran; 2) During May 2025 US-Israeli aggression against Iran, Pakistan provided solid, substantive & strategic support to Iran that was of immense help in protecting Iran, which top leadership in Tehran is well aware of; 3) In May 1984, President General Ziaul Haq REJECTED proposal from visiting US Vice President Bush to launch CIA covert operation against Iran from Pakistan’s Balochistan province to destabilize Iran; 4) in February 1986, at height of Afghan War, when Pakistan was allied to US, + peak of Iran-Iraq war when ENTIRE Arab World was pitched against Iran, in a gesture of solidarity, President Syed Ali Khamenei was invited on a State Visit to Pakistan as guest of General Zia, whom Iranian Supreme Leader always held in highest esteem & respect; 5) hence, not surprising that Iranian Parliament praised Pakistan with ‘Tashakur Pakistan’ slogans & the Field Marshal was warmly welcomed in Tehran with an unprecedented special song in his honour! Finally, regarding the ‘we are not afraid’ mantra, comparing with some Muslim countries which were mentioned in those casual comments by our Iranian friend, Pakistan never blamed Iran for being ‘afraid’ when Iran presented a written, comprehensive report to the IAEA in Vienna in October 2003 on their acquisition of nuclear equipment, which ended up implicating Pakistan as country of origin of the centrifuges & their components! All countries act according to their national interests, or, sometimes, compulsions, which is quite understandable! However, all this controversy is thankfully behind us & let’s move on with the good news: according to global public opinion surveys, Pakistan has the distinction in the world of being NUMBER ONE in supporting Iran during the war, with 93% of the ‘wonderful people of Pakistan’ backing brotherly Iran! As always, Pakistan’s remains reliable rear for Iran! @khamenei_ir@araghchi@s_m_marandi@IranAmbPak
❗***THE SCENARIO!***❗
(for macro-traders only)
- Few weeks back Markets were so sure about a Rate Hike in December FOMC.
NOW...
- Markets are Expecting a Rate Hike in Sept FOMC.
🤔 *What's The Difference?*
You may see no difference in it bcz you are focussing on a Rate Hike while I am focussing on Expectations that have pulled the Hike nearer.
💡 *Why its a Big Deal?*
When Rate Hike is coming nearer then it means Inflation fears are more and even if inflation numbers cool down for one time this Hike probability will only be pushed further rather than completely be off table. This will keep Risk Assets as well as Gold weak and Dxy will gain strength.
🚀 *So That is Why We Need to Spend More Time on Macro Data & Less Time on Gold Chart!* 🚀
Oil is up 25% from its July lows.
Three weeks. twenty five percent. On the commodity that sets the price of everything else.
And here's what almost nobody has noticed. It's no longer one supply shock.
Hormuz is choked, tankers being attacked, that story you know.
But drone strikes just halted oil loading at Russia's Caspian pipeline terminal on the Black Sea too. Two chokepoints. Two continents. Same week.
Now run the things forward.
Not one barrel of this move is in any inflation print yet. CPI runs a month behind. The data everyone celebrated measured a world of around $70 oil. That world is gone.
Petrol reprices in weeks. Freight in weeks. Food follows. August and September prints inherit today's oil price, whatever happens next.
And the Fed sits down in 8 days, staring at exactly this chart, with markets still priced for almost nothing.
Inflation didn't cool.
It went to the pipeline. And pipelines empty forward, never backward.
8 days.
Saturday is the most honest day in trading.
No candles moving. No data dropping. Nothing to blame.
Just you, and whatever you actually did this week.
The impulse entries. The size you knew was too big.
The plan you wrote Sunday and abandoned by Tuesday lunchtime.
Every trader talks about reviewing their charts on the weekend.
Almost nobody reviews themselves.
The market reopens Monday. It will be the same market.
The only variable that can actually change between now and then is you.
Most people spend the weekend resting the wrong thing.
