@NeoGameSpark The Buzz Lightyear of Star Command cartoon series was much better, but apparently there were some at Pixar who had ill will towards it, since they didn’t create it themselves.

@thegamersjoint Now the only question is if we’ll actually get a simultaneous worldwide release date? None of this “Japan gets it 5 days early” stuff like with KH3. Especially when Square’s other recent games have had simultaneous worldwide release dates.

@WallyintheAlley @aitaikimochi Tai Yasue is the co-director of KH4, yes. My point is that the Kingdom Hearts team was said to be part of Creative Studio 1, which is technically run by Hamaguchi. Hamaguchi isn’t directing the game, but would presumably have some oversight as a producer essentially.

@bradsmithVR Even before SpongeBob, Disney started adding their traditional characters to Fortnite as early as 2024. Disney, the most family friendly brand there is.

@_daeys Now that the whole “Nomura alluded to no KH4 news until the 25th anniversary” or “no KH4 news until after Final Fantasy VII Revelation releases” theories have been debunked, the chances are much higher for it to appear at D23.

@LanzTheMaster People were really convinced that we wouldn’t get a new KH4 trailer until next year for the anniversary due to Nomura’s message about “working towards the 25th anniversary”, while also convinced Square wanted to wait until after Revelation released.

@dallin1016 I’ve always felt that it would be very unusual if KH4 skipped D23 completely, and unless KH4 is late 2028 or later, this is the last opportunity to appear at it. At least the main big D23 in Anaheim.

@Keytotruth I also suspect that the Disney worlds explored in KH4 could be other worlds that exist within Unreality, with Quadratum just being the hub world.

@Keytotruth @NoahPulliam6 I think this could be a repeat of how for KH3 we got the orchestra and D23 Toy Story trailers in 2017, but full marketing didn’t truly kick into gear until 2018. So maybe we get one more trailer at D23 this year, and then they wait until next year to show anything beyond that.
