Last week we marked VE Day 80 years with a whole school assembly on the history, followed by themed activities in classes and a mini afternoon tea together on the field with wartime songs! π¬π§
Successful sporting day for our Meadows superstars! A brilliant cricket tournament for year 6 today! Loads of wickets and runs! A 5-2 win against St Keyna, whilst our girls drew but then lost on penalties against St Keyna.

The Meadows π¦ took part in the Eco Summit day. We planted fruit, veg and flowers, picked litter, made tree gargoyles and cared for our environment! Weβve even hatched butterflies! A super day! βοΈ π π³ π πΊ

As part of STEM week we had to design a bridge that could bear weight. We made a wide range of structures and used a lot of different materials. The results were outstanding! The bridges are being displayed in our lobby. π
We're thrilled to announce that The Meadows Choir took the top spot in the Eisteddfod competition of performing arts! Their first-place finish is an incredible achievement, and we are so proud of them. Congratulations to the choir and a huge thank you to Cara for your hard-work!
