The spelling styles seem to change with era (1980s vs 2020s gymnasts). But most critically they also vary between 🇰🇵&🇰🇷 with one program taking far longer for the style to be changed than the other.
Can someone explain what's going on here?

She's not a widely recognized name in the gym community these days, but she was one of the gymnasts who built modern gymnastics and didn't get much credit for it in the shadow of her more famous teammates
