@roderickgraham I don’t think that someone saying it is good, but Id rather them say it publicly so they discredit themselves, can be argued against, and because protections are specifically for abhorrent speech. You don’t need a law protecting “the sky is blue”.
@wil_da_beast630 A number of the nordics rank above the US in economic and personal freedom - it would be hard to argue that more capitalism (we can debate the social safety net) would not benefit us here as well
@rasmansa This applies way beyond IQ - something like 75% of US drivers think that they drive better than average. It’s called illusory superiority. I think people struggle to admit to themselves they’re likely ~average in most areas
@Steinernomics@Noahpinion The government is paying ~300 billion dollars per year in interest on the debt. That could cover Sanders’ free college for all FOUR TIMES over, but instead, it’s payments in perpetuity that arent helping anyone!
@OfficialTRHL The original bill or rights was actually 12 amendments with free speech in the third (the first was ratio of representatives to population [never ratified] and the second was about pay in congress [became 27th amendment])
@NAChristakis He didn’t say “don’t get vaccinated”, he said “I don’t want to perform at venues that require proof of vaccination”. There’s a difference between opposing mandates and opposing vaccines
