@complexifire@thethirtysixco We’re sure glad to be the OG on this one but with 7 billion brains working full time, we’re pretty sure people could have had similar ideas. If it’s copy pasted that’s another story :/

wow, instead of a suspiciously blank page (https://t.co/zFgYUsbow4) it turns out that @itchio has a fully-functional LGBT tag with lots of gay and queer themed games https://t.co/QalTcuvI08 https://t.co/oSTcPDEpHh

We have already given out a handful of HumbleBundle keys to some of our customers and have seen mostly a torrent of biggots and 4chaners (which are not the same) telling us we're so small it doesn't matter if we leave. Ok I guess :)
@ThatFuzzyTiger@itchio If you like games, maybe you should consider supporting the people who spend their lives entertaining you and making sure you have fun by going to platforms that take less cuts and care more for creators.
Hello everyone.
We're not a big company, we don't have a ton of games on Steam, but their bailing out of all social responsibility is not OK for us. So in our minuscule way, we will be protesting and departing the platform. On july 1st we #LeaveSteam
To sign off, we would like to thank the people who trusted us on Steam and tell everyone that we too thought putting our game on Steam was a good idea because it was easy and that's were everyone is. But we've given them too much power already. Come to @itchio with us, it's fun!
And if you disagree with this decision, are are new to this whole shebang, we recommend you read these two wonderful articles by @Vahn16

That will hopefuly give you a clearer view of the situation.
@mediamolecule@ADAMATOMIC 100% agreed. But if we only have IGN and Steam, no matter how interesting we make games, nobody can reach them... We need a broad overhaul of how games reach people.
Like André Breton said (esp true of games) a piece of art is finished when it touches someone, not before.
