@theramblingbard I used to do three day eventing and it made me extremely anxious every time, especially the jumping. I can’t imagine how I would feel doing full contact jousting, when falling off is practically guaranteed for at least someone.

@MyNamyIsAmy Idk if by spicy you mean horror or not but I love everything by Seanan Mcguire, and her horror pen-name Mira Grant, Rolling in the Deep is about a scientific mission to find mermaids (or are they?) that gets lost with all hands at sea. Good spooky mermaids and great all around!

Our power is out AGAIN and has been since yesterday, thanks DTE for the lack of communication. Such a frustrating disruption of life, makes me wonder what people who don’t have family with generators do. I worry for our elderly neighbor, he’s alone. We need @a2publicpower not DTE
