Somebody knows this man.

1:49 in the morning on Monday in New London, Connecticut. Police say shelter cameras caught him throwing a dog over the 6 foot fence at the city animal shelter on Chester Street. Then he took off and left it there in the dark.

Animal control found the dog later, terrified, hiding behind a bush. An officer had to coax it out. The dog is safe now and getting care.

Here's what makes me mad. That shelter takes surrenders. You can call them. There was never a reason to throw a dog over a fence in the middle of the night.

Police say it may break Connecticut's animal cruelty and abandonment laws.

If you know who he is, call New London Animal Control at 860-447-5231. Share this until it gets to someone in Connecticut who recognizes him.

A smart Border Collie is frantically digging through a deep snowdrift right next to a red barn. After some careful digging, the heroic dog uncovers a sheep that was completely buried alive in the snow. The sheep manages to stand up and shake off the cold, all thanks to the incredible instincts of this good boy.

❤️ More wonderful news as Nero heads off to his new home here in Spain! 🇪🇸🐾
We believe this brings us to 75 local adoptions this year, and we couldn’t be prouder!
Every family shows incredible commitment, investing in good harnesses, GPS and everything needed to keep our dogs safe.
Most importantly, they reassure us that our dogs will live the sweet life they deserve and that, if anything ever goes wrong, they will always let us know so we can be there to help and support them.
Once one of our dogs, always one of our dogs. ❤️
A heartfelt thank you to Nero’s lovely family, our amazing adoption team and all our wonderful volunteers.
Together, we keep going, doing everything we can to give these precious souls the happy endings they deserve. 🐶❤️

This is K9 Digo with Grand Rapids PD. Back in May they didn't think he'd make it.

Police say a man armed with three knives threw a lit Molotov cocktail at officers, then stabbed Digo multiple times in the head and chest. The man was shot and killed when he charged officers with a knife.

Digo's stab-proof vest saved his life. His handler Sgt. Teddy Vanvliet says "that hands down saved the dog."

Within a month he made a full recovery. He's been back on the job ever since.

"I'm grateful to have him back, there's no one that loves that dog more than I do."

Welcome back, Digo. Good boy.
