I respect Diaa, and I respect a lot of the people at RAAD, but this makes me mad.

Who introduced inflated salaries in 2021 and made it impossible for small teams to keep up?
Who had a B Team and made their players sign exclusivity contracts so the B team players got screwed?

@alciel98 @lebanonflamer I believe there needs to be a major restructure. The current model is not sustainable, and the off season is too long. There is no plan for the future

All of my ideas won't fit into tweets, and I don't have the energy to do a presentation or email and have it ignored again.

@lebanonflamer No drama, but everyone needs to understand how we got here and why interest in the LoL MENA scene is declining.

No one is free of blame, i think most of it lies on riot as a publisher/organizer like I said before, but they are not solely to blame.

For a time when I was coaching, raad were seen as "villains". I myself thought so too and disliked the effect the organisation had on the industry, but they are fixing their past mistakes, and honestly have won me over as a fan after showing their commitment to MENA this split

We need to understand how we got here to not repeat the same mistake.
I sincerely wish Diaa and his team continue this current path and invest time in our homegrown talents and players and as he said even though the results may not come now, on the long run this is the best path

Did not have a set plan and roadmap for the region to grow.
No consistent quality content overpromised and underdelivered.

I voiced my concerns, along with others to rioters a long time ago, but we were completely ignored.

The result today speaks for itself.

My entire timeline is just now realizing MENA LoL has been steadily declining.

It seems most think players or orgs are to blame for not producing content.

In my eyes the blame lies mostly on Riot MENA.

They eliminated competition by drowning out other leagues/events 1/2
