@SarahKessler19 @MargauxAxelrod1 Sounds like cell service is still down there! My parents both have Verizon and haven’t been able to communicate through them. Sounds like houses are okay but the streets are flooded. The community of island walk seems to be stronger than ever right now.

My mom was able to call my brother off a neighbors cell phone! Mom and Dad are OK! Flooding did NOT reach the houses on Mazzara Street at IslandWalk. They said it’s pretty darn close though. Only damage inside was a little leakage from windows but not bad. #IslandWalk #veniceFL

Hi! I made this account to try and find information on my parents who I lost contact with around 1pm EST yesterday due to #HurricaneIan . They live in Island Walk in Venice FL. If anyone knows anything about how bad the area was impacted LMK!
