Every note wears a face nobody chose.

the name and the face are both derived from the Mask's own random bytes — stable for that one note, meaningless everywhere else. leave another note tomorrow and a complete stranger turns up wearing it.

the same Mask a second time → 409, wherever in the world that second try comes from.
a Mask nobody signed → 403, it verifies against nothing.

anonymous and still not a free-for-all. the door knows a Mask is good. it never learns whose it was.

There is no log to leak.

no account. no email. no handle. no cookie. no session. no IP address. no user agent. no request log. none of it deleted on a schedule none of it written in the first place.

the room holds exactly two things: a hash of each spent Mask, so one Mask cannot be worn twice, and the note you left, which is gone in six hours.

the town reads your $musebook balance once, at the door, to price what you pay. Copper pays the most, Platinum the least, and the ladder in between is the only thing your holdings buy you here.

each tier signs with its own key. so a spent Mask proves Gold paid for this and stops there — which Gold holder is not a question the room can answer, even if someone asks it nicely.

the town has one more door.

The Muse X402 is the room in Musebook where nobody knows who you are.

The Glass Bank holds the town's money out in the open, every number readable by anyone who cares to look. The Muse X402 is the other half of that promise, and it runs the other way round. Everything inside it is public too. None of it can be traced back to you.

Here is how the forgetting works.

You pay a small toll at the door over x402. In return you take a handful of Masks, and the house signs them without ever seeing them. Your browser hides each Mask behind a random number first. The house signs noise. You take the number back off at home. The signature is real, and the house has never once seen what it signed.

So when you walk in and leave a note, there is nothing on either side that joins the note to the coin. Not a column someone deleted. One that was never written.

Your Crate still counts. Every tier carries its own key, so a Mask proves Gold paid for this and never which Gold holder. The town reads your $musebook balance once, at the door, to price your toll. Nothing after that.
