The reverse is not as true. Shirou is the only one who was able to get her to break her stoic king facade.

I like the ship. I think it's my favorite romance in FSN but like you point out Shirou is fairly one dimensional in it. I prefer Shirou in UBW a lot more.

@YoungHexied There are SIGNIFICANTLY better "competitive" games on the market for me to invest my attention and money into than 2K, Fifa or Madden.

Franchise mode, Superstar, and Dynasty (in CFB) give me the long term gameplay loop that I like.

@HazeRedux @Pirat_Nation I don't actually hate Marathon. It's not for me, but it's become a very easy target as it's a monument to the mismanagement of Bungie.

The only reason it exists is so that C-suite could sell Sony on the idea they had multiple IP in the works to drive up the acquisition price.

It didn't take a genius to realize Marathon would be a niche game at best. Meanwhile the "abject failure" Destiny 2 is #3 on Steam Sales this week.

They had two paths to take, support Destiny or support Marathon. They chose the objectively worse one.

Spending money on Destiny also goes to Bungie like what is she talking about? Destiny is one of the top selling games on steam rn Marathon is not.

@AlpelDokkan Thinking about this more, given that Shirou could defeat him with Nine Lives Blade Works, Archer 100% could as well. It's just a matter of whether or not he would've come up with the idea of using Herc's NP against him.

My theory is that Archer probably could have killed him, but he wanted Shirou to overcome him instead with Saber because he thought Shirou had a chance at "saving" her

@AlpelDokkan UBW conceptually (not even the full marble but the tracing ability) is really one of the only actual counters God Hand has. If he becomes immune to one weapon, he can just pull out another.
