A no-show from @Official43FC last week meant it was a start of a new season for the 40 tonight. Ironically, our rivals were first in the firing line this time around. However, I suspect they wished they never showed up again as the 40 took them to school in a 9-3 stuffing.

[NE40 FC @THENE40FC]

Sad day for the club as founder, manager, captain, leader and legend @JackParkinson97 has ultimately departed the club, past few seasons the team couldn’t match the ambition showed by past seasons in clubs history. Few more out the door expected to follow

[NE40 FC @THENE40FC]

@alexskel You can end of season when we don’t win the league and it all kicks off one the pitch and people complain at eachother

[NE40 FC @THENE40FC]

When the gaffas are away the children will play, the 40 sufffered defeat at the hands of Giroud tonight, too many lads underestimating our opponents thinking game was won before a ball was kicked and drinking pints in the Fox. Well done Giroud!
