@RobbieE93679862@TheGoodPhight With that payroll I would image they would be. They also were better - remember they beat the Phillies in the 2025 NLDS. I think last year was a fluke.
Chicken parm is not Italian. Neither is Snooki. I guess that’s why they decided to partner so they could both pretend together and roll out Chili’s new chicken parm sandwich.
Never looked at sales per labor hour, but overall labor costs as a blended rate across payroll periods. We always aimed at 27% in our QSR restaurant and under 30% in our full service restaurants. I was never overly worried about cost per house because I'd rather be slightly overstaffed than understaffed, offering poor service. If the labor costs were rising I'd see where I could cut relative to sales per hour, but never used sales per labor hour as a deciding metric.
Spotify has AI artists that they have complete control over and use their own playlists and algorithm to drive listeners to these AI artists (and away from real artists) …essentially they own the entire line of distribution. They’ve been ripping off artists since the beginning… nice to see them get a taste of their own medicine (not that I’m condoning fraud!)
Side note:
A cool example of an artist making a play against Spotify is a band called Vulfpek came out with an album called Sleepify, which was a silent album they encourage their fans to listen to on repeat why they slept. They ended up making a ton of money on it because it was streamed for thousands of hours and then ended up funding their next record. Haha
