“We may not agree on many things but one thing we do is decreasing the transmission of COVID to protect our community” spread the message: unity...prevention...love...understanding...faith...fun
In times like these we can focus on the negative and the fear or share the positive actions that are bringing hope...Thank you to @elonmusk and everyone that is stepping up and helping the healthcare providers around the world!
We have extra FDA-approved ventilators. Will ship to hospitals worldwide within Tesla delivery regions. Device & shipping cost are free. Only requirement is that the vents are needed immediately for patients, not stored in a warehouse. Please me or @Tesla know.
The outpouring of support for hospital staff in this community and many others has been nothing short of incredible. To the health professionals that committed to a life of service nothing provides energy like a thank you. Gratitude and Service!
Much like we are grateful to our members of the military, during a time like this, let’s remember to thank our medical professionals. If you see someone in scrubs today “Thank you for your service” United in gratitude and service we stand!
“In this one I feel like I fell short. As a leader what I’ve learned and how I’ve grown and the bigger stages that I’ve been on, I know how I would respond today. But there aren’t a lot of second chances in real time like that. And I regret that.”
I love sports for so many reason but watching AJ Hinch speak about leadership in the wake of this controversy reminds me of so many lessons we can learn in life through sports. Great interview and just an incredible representation of what it means to be accountable. Check it out.
“I look back on all the different things I’ve had to do in the course of my career: playing, managing, and front office—so many sort of crisis moments, or big moments that feel like it’s the moment for leadership—and I feel good about it.”
“I regret so much...and it’s complicated...there are parts that are hard to talk about but taking responsibility as the manager, it happened on my watch. I’m not proud of that. I’ll never be proud of it. I didn’t like it. But I have to own it...I was in a leadership position.”
Nothing disappoints me more then when WE believe WE know what someone else wants and WE act with out asking. It’s as if childhood and the relationships our parents have as decisions makers conditions us to this accepted norm. Particularly true in healthcare we must ask not act!
