@RobbieRinder Furlough - made redundant 17th March, won't furlough me as 'legal advice we have received is that re-engagement has a precise meaning in law and that any attempt toย dis-apply employment rights, regardless of the employees written consent, would be void.' This right?
@RishiSunak Please amend guidance so that employers who made redundancies due to Covid-19 don't have to re-employ staff but can still furlough them if they were on payroll! This is a major loophole! Re-employing has legal implications - reason given by my employer.
