You've traveled for weeks in a caravan w/ a strange nano claiming to be an Aeon Priest. One night, you awake in a tent along side the road to the sound of screaming. You emerge to the sight of the nano, now with four arms, killing everyone. What do you do?

@TheNinthWorld I draw a pattern in the air with my hand, the complicated finger movements are used to activate the device I have implanted in my palm that shoots out wave of scintillating energy which I know will hold the creature fast long enough for me to beat a hasty retreat
@TheNinthWorld Reach for a flask of acid on belt. Shape liquid into thin Sabre (flask serves as hilt). Stab for vision slit. Reshape liquid into spiked maul. Liquid expands within helmet. Acid ideally damages internal circuits. Hope there is no secondary brain.
@TheNinthWorld Clucking twice with my tongue, my pack activates the synth arms sticking out of it. They wield my swords, defending my back as I finish inventory. I hear the thunk of the being hitting the ground, and I duck as the arms turn on me. I ought to fix that bug.
You've finally reached the bottom of an enormous synth construct near Hthumos. You're so far underground, the heat is overbearing. It's hot and dark, and as you take inventory, a being approaches swiftly and silently from a corridor. How do you defend yourself?

@TheNinthWorld Turning towards the construct, I concentrate, activating the micro processor located at the back of my right eye which allows me to cast my own version of scan on the strange creature
You've been taking a respite near Far Brohn the last few days when a group of nomads stop in town. The group leaves shortly after, but has mysteriously left a giant, mechanized steed behind in an alley. As you walk by, it rises and scans you. What do you do?

@TheNinthWorld Pulling a cypher from my belt, I blow into it as my vision swims. A zap across my tongue tells me it worked. The legs of the construct arch over me, as the world falls away, fractal panes of reality hiding my limp body. I awake to the moon, and unfold my cocoon, still searching.
You've been hunting your way through the southern reaches of the Steadfast, on the trail of an animal. Just as the trail runs cold, this rises out of the water from a lake in front of you, and begins to approach. You begin to get dizzy. What do you do?

@Phoenix24Femme Something to consider about Numenera is that it's intrinsically story-driven, narrative superstructure, and less reliance on hard mechanics might make it particularly more enjoyable in a streaming setting.
@TheNinthWorld Run for the inside of its cloak while it is still rising. Begin colossus climb. Look for primary data interface port while climbing. Attempt download of ancient sword techniques. Retreat. Assimilate. Plan counters based on learned data.
@TheNinthWorld I step forward, and note that it rises further, mirroring my leg. I crouch and it follows. Twisting my arm, I see its sword rise from the ground to point skyward. The next step forward I blink and look down at my old body, limp on the rough ground, and turn away.
