When I decided to create the Steam curator Sweet Baby Inc. Detected, my goal was to warn players about people who wanted to turn video games into tools for ideological messaging and political propaganda.

Things escalated far beyond anything I ever imagined and today, terms like DEI are widely known across the global gaming community.

We have also seen Sweet Baby Inc. become increasingly secretive, and having your game associated with Sweet Baby Inc. has effectively become a badge of shame, leading to significant losses in sales and reputation among gamers.

Over the past few weeks, I have been watching the industry's movements closely, and the reemergence of Anita Sarkeesian as a relevant figure is deeply concerning. This is someone who has already done far too much damage to the video game industry with her toxic and hateful ideas, combined with the influence she somehow still holds within the industry.

I see a situation very similar to what we had with Sweet Baby Inc.: a malicious individual trying to use video games to spread twisted and hateful ideologies, using gaming as a vehicle for propaganda.

That is why I have decided to start including games connected to Anita Sarkeesian in the Sweet Baby Inc. Detected curator.

We need not only to warn players that the game they are thinking about buying may be helping fund Anita Sarkeesian's disgusting work, but also to send a clear message to the industry that WE WILL NOT ACCEPT OUR ENTERTAINMENT BEING TURNED INTO PROPAGANDA. PERIOD.

However, I cannot do this alone, not this time. Unlike Sweet Baby Inc., Anita Sarkeesian does not provide a ready made list of games she has worked on through her official website. She does list clients, but not specific games. And I simply cannot spend endless hours every day tracking down and investigating these titles anymore. Life happens. Bills need to be paid, and I have to focus on work that actually brings financial return. I am being completely honest with you here.

But I know many of you can help track these games down. To get things started, I have added Slay the Spire 2 to the Sweet Baby Inc. Detected curator.

If you can help identify more titles connected to her, please email me at [email protected]. Only games with undeniable proof of her involvement will be added. As always, I do not want to be unfair to anyone, nor do I want to spread false information.

Πρακτικά όμως, ενστερνίζεται και προωθεί πλήρως τις βασικές αρχές αυτού του ιδεολογικού πλαισίου. Μεταφράζει τον ��μηρο ανοιχτά ως «γυναίκα και gender-aware φεμινίστρια», με στόχο να διορθώσει αυτό που θεωρεί «αβίαστες προκαταλήψεις» των προηγούμενων (ανδρών) μεταφραστών.

Στην εκδοχή της μαλακώνει τον "σκληρό και ανελέητο" Οδυσσέα σε έναν "πολύπλοκο/μπερδεμένο άνθρωπο", δίνει έμφαση στη δουλεία, στις σκλάβες γυναίκες και στη "τοξική αρρενωπότητα", ενώ μιλάει για "ρωγμές στην πατριαρχική φαντασίωση" και ηθικές ασάφειες που ταιριάζουν απόλυτα με τη σημερινή αποδόμηση των ηρώων.

Αυτή η προσέγγιση αντανακλά την κυρίαρχη αριστερή ακαδημαϊκή τάση: επανερμηνεύει τα ηρωικά και πολεμικά έπη του Ομήρου μέσα από τα πρίσματα του σύγχρονου φεμινισμού, identity politics και κριτικής της εξουσίας, αντί να μεταδίδει πιστά το πρωτότυπο πνεύμα τους.

Δρα στο προ��δευτικό περιβάλλον ενός ελιτίστικου αμερικανικού πανεπιστημίου (Πενσιλβάνια) και υποστηρίζει την "ενταξιακότητα" στα κλασικά γράμματα.

Παρότι η ίδια αποφεύγει τον χαρακτηρισμό woke αριστερή φεμινίστρια, το έργο και οι δηλώσεις της συνάδουν πλήρως με αυτό το ιδεολογικό πλαίσιο.

"There is only one best omen: to defend your country."

This phrase still lives on today in the Hellenic Armed Forces and is used by every person who feels the duty to stand and defend their country, what Homer calls the "sweet fatherland." It is the readiness to protect one's family, because family and the eternal continuation of national identity through time are of the highest importance.

The words belong to Hector, who shouted them outside the walls of Troy.

Homer describes the battles outside the walls as ferocious. As the Trojans were pushing the Greeks back, Polydamas saw an eagle on their left holding a bloodied serpent in its talons. The snake turned and bit the eagle, which then dropped it.

(Polydamas was a brave Trojan, Hector’s comrade-in-arms and a renowned interpreter of omens, thus an advisor to the Trojans. In several places in the Iliad, Hector disagrees with him)

Seeing the eagle and the serpent, Polydamas urged Hector not to advance with the chariots toward the ships on the beach, warning that those following on foot would be slaughtered.

With a fierce look, Hector the helmet-shaker replied:

"I do not like at all what you have said, Polydamas."

Hector continues, saying that this advice from Polydamas and from Zeus through the omen, to retreat and obey because a bird flew left or right, does not please him. With a great cry he declares:

"There is only one best omen: to fight in defense of your fatherland. And you, Polydamas, why do you fear war and battle? Even if we all die here, that is no cause for fear, nor is your heart cowardly so as to flee from combat. But if you run from the war or try with words to turn others away, know that you will lose your life by my spear."

This saying, every time cowardice tries to seize us and cloud our minds, reminds us that we must act with courage and manliness. It reminds us that when we and our country are threatened, we owe it to give even our lives for FREEDOM.

To be a patriot (a word of Greek origin) is a sign of mental health. It is Homeric and a great value. To be "apatride", that is, someone who has no sense of belonging to a country, is to be a hollow, indifferent person, devoid of the greatest Homeric virtue. It is something sad even to imagine.

Humanity is heading toward an abyss with mathematical precision. Raise your children with values. Teach them to pursue moral virtues: wisdom, prudence, courage, moderation, generosity, gentleness, greatness of soul, respect, justice, and discipline.

Love your country and your people but hate the traitors and those who hate you to death.

Educate yourselves. Love your wife or husband, your children. Create families and live by values. This is the only true progress that can lay the right foundations so that our children may build better societies in the future. Raise them with proper role models, Homeric role models.

What we are living through now is absolute decline, a dark age, the destruction of reason and of values. It is the real darkness of thought and progress, and with mathematical precision it will drive the ship onto the rocks. Nature, however, will take care of things, so do not worry. History writes itself and does not forgive.

The model of pseudo-progress that wants no nations, no families, and a world full of injustices and irrationality is already failing. Even as we speak, the history books of the future are being written, the ones that will be read in a hundred years.

Societies without values lead to the degradation of human dignity. They turn man into a slave and a plaything of tyrants.
