If I win it, amazing. If I finish second, third or even lower, I’ll go back to training and work even harder.

“People sometimes forget that I’m still young. They want me to win everything immediately. When I score, they say I’m the next king. When I have a bad game, suddenly I’m overrated. I’m not going to live my life according to what people say about me on social media.

“My dream is to make history with Barcelona, win the biggest trophies with Spain, become the best version of myself and, hopefully, win the Ballon d’Or one day. I want to win it not just once, but as many times as possible. That’s my ambition.

“But this award is decided by the voters, and I respect that. All I can do is put my performances on the pitch and let them decide.
