@lazarusa57 And pre-1970’s you faced same pitcher with over 100 pitches thrown a fourth or fifth time so 0-3 could become 2-5. Defenses changed with analytics, shifts , didn’t have closers, 8th inning guys, lefty/ righty relievers.
