A CBS study shows 55% of our costs are CA only costs. Are the candidates willing to do anything to bring down the costs in that 55% (vs. just blaming Trump for the 45%)?

@Elex_Michaelson @Elex_Michaelson in the future, in addition to asking about the gas tax, ask about the latest report (from CBS) that 55% of California’s gas costs are California specific costs. This eliminates the “Trump effect” which is impacting gas nationwide. Ask how they would lower that.

@60Minutes Why focus on the middle section nobody wants? Because that’s the section they need to include to keep federal government funds for the project. So instead of admitting failure, they’re just using that federal taxpayer money to build something nobody wants. It’s all a money pit!

@ozzy_livin @ozzy_livin I agree with Cem in the majority of this video, but it is curious that after spending 95% of it talking about how we should see a meaningful decline next year…he then also adds, “but we could see a 20-30% increase too.” What?? That’s what confuses people.
