@Szlater2@MorganE07969703 HCAs were one of the biggest issues we had with maternity care. Well meaning but their advice was utterly useless. Basically just administrators.
Indeed one easy way to begin to reverse the decade long decline is to abolish any fast tracks for graduate entry.
I've always believed, anecdotally, that 'wokeism' has found a home in the police because so many senior officers are the fruit of that grad fast track.
@FT Not sure why the PM and many of our MPs don't see that the 'division' was here long before Musk bought Twitter and, if things continue along this path, will still be here long after X has ceased to become a thing.
Quietly seething anger shared by all decent people in UK politics at @elonmusk interference promoting far right narratives ๐๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝโ๐ฉ๐ฌ๐ง๐ฅ
It really is this simple: if the Green Party ever collaborate with 5Pillars again, I am out, and so are thousands of others.
No more interviews, no more endorsements, nothing.
Progressive movements cannot exist with homophobic religious fundamentalism.
@ZackPolanski
Wait, so Nottingham paid millions to this consultancy for a failed IT rollout, after already wasting tens of millions on another failed student system, while wasting tens of millions to renovate a corporate campus site it couldn't integrate?! Then blamed 'external factors'!?
@francesweetman Even more bemusing given they must surely know that this tactic increasingly fails, and noticing has spread beyond the confines of Twitter/social media and into the wider normie (middle class) ecosystem.
@francesweetman I know I'm just preaching to the converted but it's continually bemusing to me watching the establishment lambast Musk et al. as the cause. It's just like what happened when David Amess died. Nothing to do with the stabby islamist, it's the internet's fault!
Now that the Overton window is rapidly shifting, it becomes a lot easier to recognise and laugh at these accounts who are clearly trying to deceive others as much as they have already deceived themselves.
"There is no systematic evidence of any public body engaging in structural bias against white people, but of course there is against black and brown people"
@schneiderhome talking sense (and facts) on #GMB
We can politicise the murder of a man that happened thousands of miles away that had no link to UK policing at all, but we can't politicise the murder of a kid here who was failed by the only people who had a hope of being able to protect/save him.
right-o.
โDonโt politicise thisโ means โonly MY side gets to be vindicated by eventsโ
And the people complaining about the โpoliticisationโ of Henry Nowakโs murder not only politicised the death of George Floyd, they also politicised a fictional murder in a Netflix show.
For context, UCL's Institute of Education predicted last August that the impact of VAT on education would be 30,000 fewer private pupils *over 5 years*. This is year one.
We asked our audience if it was understandable for Sadiq Khan to promote LGBTQ and alcohol given his position as London mayor serving all communities.
Based on 960 responses, an overwhelming 95% said no.
