I saw some people doing the About Me: Video Games grid so I thought I’d try it myself.
I tried to avoid repeats and also kinda did the first thing that came to mind for some of them so take all of these with a slight grain of salt.
@StellaNoxEclair Like yeah, but I can at least see the vision for most of it, even if it doesn’t work.
The harmonica part I legitimately don’t understand who thought it was a good idea.
Looking at this again, I realized Shuten Order is more overlooked than underrated. I’m not kicking off Anodyne 2, because I think that game is more underrated, but I am replacing Hundred Line with Shuten Order for art style.
As for my pick for underrated, I’ll say Mega Man 8.

If you don’t mind me asking I wanted to pose a quick GM philosophy question.
Let’s say you are using a system where the GM doesn’t use dice (such as something PBtA based). Would it come across as odd if the GM tied certain events to random die rolls anyway?
City of Books just added Private Red Truths.
After my last mystery turned out harder than intended even with all Red Truths being global, and my new one being more complicated at the outset, I’m worried about how long this one will take to be solved.
@palpelpil2 Right now I have a similar problem. I made a mystery that I thought was easy, so I labeled it easy. 50 theories and 30 new red truths later, I think I drove some of them insane.
@FeatherineFAA has made a WTC social media platform.
I created a mystery on there, but I’m worried I made it too easy.
I’ll just have to see how long it takes people to solve it.
I feel like I’ll have a lot of fun with this feature.
Did I get the same guy back to back? If so, excellent follow up.
Also I guess if you somehow stumble on this tweet, feel free to answer yourself, whether or not you are an Umineko fan. #youraislopboresme
God damn it’s been 8 hours and my opinions on this ending have already flip flopped like 20 times. I am really curious what my thoughts are going to be when I finally settle all of them.
Thoughts on Chainsaw Man ending:
If this is a fakeout like we’ve been theorizing, I think 232 was actually genius.
If this is the real ending, and there is no continuation or Part 3, this ending was awful, and this is coming from someone who liked the rest of Part 2.
I don’t know, maybe I’ll feel differently in a month once all the video essays drop.
Or maybe I’ll resent it more for making me watch long and pretentious video essays. We’ll see.
