Or 10 shares of Africa's biggest refinery. Everything else will be forgotten or digested by Friday.
What are you buying?
Don’t buy what you don’t understand. If you are a low risk investor that is focused on short term returns, you have no business in equities IMO.
Nothing is hidden about the market.
This whole Dangote IPO discuss is so funny because a lot of people don’t understand how equities work.
As someone in the financial market space, I’ll advise everyone to do their research no matter how boring trends & numbers it may seem. Read and understand! Don’t do “hear say”
Dangote refinery is not going to make you wealthy if you are not rich yet, dead that idea. Kill it fast fast.
It is a compounder for the wealthy. Let me explain.
If you buy 100 units, that is 52,500, for your capital to double, it would mean the valuation of the refinery would be around 96B dollars, that is when your 52,500 becomes 105,000.
That might take a while say 2-5 years, but for the wealthy that invest 100m, if the company moves just 15% upward per share he gains extra 15m each year.
You might see that someone has committed 400m dollars to the refinery, if the refinery gains just 10% each year for the next 5 years, that is 40m in the first year, 44m in second year like that like that.
Know what you are signing up for, don’t think your 10 units would become millions one day, it would never.
Envy is terrible, because Paul is being cheated on a crazy way but he doesn’t seem to care because as long as Peter is worse off, he is happy to go along with blatant evil. Jude was masterful in his greed and cruelty.
