August 1, 2021 (~14months ago), I quit working for the man, starting working for a Black woman! Allow me to re-introduce myself, Founding CEO & Owner of the 1st & only Black woman led quality improvement & implementation science, practice, & research firm. https://t.co/ekWo3VUoMN
My fam has spent the last several months, in between clinical rotations, shelf exams, Step 1, ERAS applications, MPH coursework, and faculty interviews, deliberating on what experts can share the "consciousness and tools to be antiracist in medicine."

Thread 🧵
Moments like these are exactly why a group of 9, mostly MDs in training, came together last summer, weeks after George Floyd was killed and amid the #COVID19 pandemic, to create the @CPSolvers Antiracism in Medicine podcast series.

We are certainly not the only ones in this space. Our community is strong @ThePraxisPod@FlipScriptPod@drniidarko @bernielim @StevenBradleyMD@drjaysheree.
Nor do podcasts alone offer a "user-friendly" fix to the hard work of achieving antiracism.
But who's ready to work?

Friends, the second episode of the @CPSolvers Antiracism in Medicine series is dropping very soon.
CRT scholar, host of the @ThePraxisPod, and Asst. Dean @UWMedicine@EdwinLindo is in conversation with our team on dismantling race-based medicine and it is .
I am aware of this, disturbed by it, and actively working w/ colleagues to address/rebut this. My phone has been ringing off the hook &my email inbox is full, as it should be. The author's home institution is leading the way in reversing the damage. This will not go unchallenged

As a teacher in Seattle, it’s really astounding to see so many cops make 250–300K a year.
Teachers work a lot of overtime too—but don’t get paid a dime for it.
Learn about the “most overpaid cops” & the brutal conduct of some of these officers here:
