The hardest part of reviewing a PR isnโt the diff.
Itโs understanding the intent, because otherwise authors struggle with slower first responses, more back-and-forth, and slower delivery.
Having an internal barometer for what level you are playing at and a way to climb levels is super important.
Basically, everyone from a frontend engineer to content writer should know what level they are playing at and figure out how to level up.
This might be easier for some functions like sales with a clear number as KPI, but I think it becomes the individual's responsibility to discover the levels in their game and devise a climbing strategy.
Bigger companies might do this for you, but best not to leave it to chance.
@maccaw Great points.
That was a biggest lesson learnt when we did a lifetime pricing deal. It just doesnโt make sense for cloud software where you incur recurring costs.
@RajasNeve@Apple Itโs pretty good. But I think they should start coloring the reminders as they get further and further beyond the end date. Drive the urgency.
