Building PurePath from zero.
The goal is simple: use AI to help people scan their kitchen, bedding and clothing to understand hidden micro plastics and toxin exposure.
No fear mongering. No wellness fluff just clear information, better swaps, and a cleaner path forward.
@dev_maims Couldn't agree more. I vibecoded my app then tried to ship to the app store. Let's just say it didn't go well and now I'm working with a developer and he's crushing it!
@JonyMac_ux@Crevion218669 Exactly, that’s what I’m working on. PurePath isn’t meant to replace lab testing. I’m working on an AI camera that can reliably detect household materials, visible wear, and risk signals from normal user photos, then turn that into a useful exposure score.
The goal with PurePath is not to scare people.
It is to make hidden exposure easier to understand.
Scan your home.
Get your score.
Swap smarter.
That is the product.

I thought that I was going to go through with Kitchen, Bedding and Clothing for my scans but I then realized that the clothing scan isn't impactful enough to get people to use the app. I have now decided to change it to a bathroom scan (see thread below for me to explain)
So the PurePath scan system is now focused on the three areas that feel most immediate:
Kitchen, what touches your food
Bedding, what touches your body for hours
Bathroom, what touches your skin daily
That is a much stronger foundation.
