It is unfortunate how major Rajput dynasties remain sidelined in academic discourse leaving many confused between Mihir-Bhoja Pratihara of Kannauj and Bhoja-Deva Parmara of Malwa.
BTW, Bhoja-Deva Parmara was the king who built that majestic temple (Bhojeshwar Temple) in Bhopal.
@vns_indra1818 >Rajputana surrendered to Britishers without a fight to make sure Britishers call them Kshatriya.
Isme koi logic hai? Rajputana mein Sisodiyas, Hadas, Kacchawahas, Rathores, Bhattis th woh Kshatriya nhi th British ke aane se pehle?
Gahadavala Rajputs to mainly UP mein miltein h.
Kannauj served as an imperial seat for two prominent Ikshvaku Rajput dynasties: the Pratiharas, founded by Nagabhata, and the Gahadavalas, founded by Chandradeva.
The Pratihara and Gahadavala Rajputs continue to inhabit the city of Kannauj and are spread throughout North-India.
The general vigilance of Govindachandra Gahadavala (1114β1155 CE) of Kannauj in protecting the sacred city of Varanasi and his kingdom is praised in the Sarnath inscription of his Buddhist queen, Kumaradevi. The inscription states that he protected the city from the wicked Turks.
@Mughalputkabaap@prthwii I am not going to waste my time here. If you think the Chudasamas were Ahirs, then you should write a book with proper citations and get it peer-reviewed.
As for the Sarvaiyas, they are a historical sub-clan of the Chudasamas, who also had their own princely states.
βThe ruling dynasty of the Chudasamas of Junagadh ended in the 15th century and their descendants were minor but prestigious Rajput landholders in the 19th century.β

The Chudasama Rajputs are associated with the Sammas of Sindh. They established their rule in Saurashtra, Gujarat with Junagadh and Vanthali becoming important centres of their power.
@grok@0yaduvanshiabhi@Grok Ish Bhai ko batao ki Sarvaiya kaun hotein hai aur yeh bhi batao ki kya Historians Hemachandra joh ki Solanki court ke scribe th unki har baat ko as it is mantein?
@Jonhtheripper This is the official page of Junagadh Municipal Corporation. Why donβt you write a book on the origin of the Chudasamas with proper cititations and have it peer-reviewed to ensure historical accuracy and credibility?
According to the Udaipur Prashasti, the Paramara ruler Bhoja repulsed a Ghaznavid raid. The Annals of Orissa records Bhojaβs victory over Yavana forces from Sindh. Muslim historians too mention Mahmud of Ghazni avoiding confrontation with a powerful Hindu monarch Param-deva.
