THE PERSON WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO PROTECT ME WAS THE ONE WHO HURT ME
My name was Daniel, and I was 16 when my life changed forever.
Growing up, I believed my mother was the one person who would always protect me. My father had died when I was young, and she was all I had.
But behind the doors of our home, something terrible was happening.
My mother began crossing boundaries no parent should ever cross.
She sexually abused me, and whenever I tried to resist, she reminded me that nobody would believe me if I told them.
I became quiet. I stopped laughing with my friends, avoided going home, and started pretending I was okay when I wasn't.
I DISOBEYED MY MOTHER, BUT IT TURNED OUT TO BE THE BEST DECISION OF MY LIFE.
When I was 19, my mother warned me never to leave our village for the city.
“Son, the city is full of people who will destroy your future. Stay here, learn a trade, and build your life slowly,” she always told me.
But I had a dream. I wanted to become a successful fashion designer, and I believed staying in the village would limit my opportunities.
One morning, I packed my clothes, took the little money I had saved, and left without telling her.
When she discovered I was gone, she called me crying.
“After everything I have done for you, this is how you repay me? You will regret this decision!”
Her words broke my heart, but I refused to return.
My ex and I had been apart for three weeks when I went to her apartment to retrieve my watch.
She wasn't home. Her older sister answered the door in a silk robe, wine in hand.
"She's at work," she said. "Come in and get it."
I should have taken my watch and left. Instead, I followed her inside.
Her sister and I had always shared a teasing, unusual chemistry. I sometimes caught her watching me, but I never acted on it because she was my girlfriend's sister.
That evening, she sat beside me and asked whether I was seeing anyone.
I laughed. "Your sister hasn't even been out of my life for a month."
"That wasn't my question."...
I pretended to be a poor man for three months, and what I discovered about my own family broke my heart.
My name is Richard Williams. I am a 62-year-old businessman living in London, England. For more than thirty years, I worked hard to build a business empire worth millions of dollars.
I bought my wife, Margaret, a beautiful house. I paid for my two children, Daniel and Sophia, to attend the best schools. Whenever they needed anything, I provided it without hesitation.
But as I grew older, I began to wonder whether my family loved me or simply loved the money I provided.
So I made a decision.
I told my lawyer to keep my financial situation private. Then I sold my expensive car, moved into a modest apartment, and stopped wearing designer clothes.
One Friday evening, I invited my family to dinner.
"I have something important to tell you," I announced.
Margaret put down her wineglass. Daniel stopped checking his phone, while Sophia looked at me impatiently.
"My business has collapsed," I said. "I've lost almost everything. I may have to sell the house."
For a moment, nobody spoke.
Then Margaret's face changed.
"What do you mean you've lost everything?" she demanded. "How could you allow this to happen?"
Daniel pushed his chair backward.
"Dad, you can't be serious! What happens to the money you promised to invest in my company?"
Sophia stared at me in disbelief.
"And what about the apartment you promised to buy me in New York?"
I looked at my children, waiting for someone to ask whether I was okay.
Nobody did.
Instead, Margaret stood up and said something I would never forget.
"Richard, I didn't marry you to struggle. You need to fix this before it destroys our lives."
That night, I returned to my small apartment alone.
For the first time in decades, I cried.
But I wasn't finished with my little experiment.
The following morning, I made a phone call that would reveal exactly who my family really was.
And what I heard on that call was only the beginning.
Ari Was Not Cast As Audrey Hepburn But It's A Good Thing.
We're all glad she didn't get the role because girl, Wicked was a lot. That was a lot. That was a lot.
Don't get me wrong, they are very similar. Even when you put them side by side, their face, the eyes are pretty similar, the eyebrows, the nose, like they do look alike.
She was doing that bun with those bangs for no reason. She had this hairstyle for like a year and a half and I honestly was kind of over it. I needed the ponytail back. She really had that Audrey Hepburn look. But I'm just hoping the bangs and short things go away. This hairstyle put Ari with blonde hair. That's what we were seeing for like a year and a half.
In my opinion I'm happy that she was not cast for this role, Breakfast at Tiffany's, because I feel like especially with Wicked, we saw how into character she got, how sad she was in those interviews and just how she lost herself a little bit. Don't know if it was her co-star Cynthia Erivo, I don't know if it was just Wicked itself. We don't know what happened on the production.
She gets into character, which is great, but maybe just a little bit too much. She would have gotten so into Audrey Hepburn, she would have starved herself.
In my opinion Breakfast at Tiffany's DOES NOT NEED TO BE REMADE!!! And Ariana is just not a good fit, we're all glad she didn't get the role.
In my opinion I do hope Ariana continues to act, but not in a way where it's going to affect her mental health. Because I don't care if you guys were like, "No, Wicked didn't affect her mental health." It did. 100% it did.
What do you think, is it a good thing Ariana didn't get cast as Audrey?
MY FAKE RELATIONSHIP BACK IN MY UNI DAYS 😅
While I was in uni, a friend of mine and I once agreed to pretend to be dating for one week, but neither of us expected how complicated things would become afterward.
Her name was Chloe, and we had been friends since our first year. We were so familiar with each other that most people often assumed we were dating, but we always laughed whenever someone asked.
One Thursday evening, we were sitting in my apartment when Chloe suddenly brought up something that caught me off guard.
Chloe: “Can I ask you a favor?”
Me: “Is it about money?”
She threw a cushion at me.
Chloe: “Why is money always the first thing on your mind?”
Me: “Because every time you say you need a favor, my bank account cries for help.”
She laughed before sitting beside me.
Chloe: “Okay, I'm serious this time. I want us to pretend to be dating for one week.”
I turned toward her and laughed.
Me: “Have you finally lost your mind?”
I asked jokingly. 😅
Chloe: “I'm being serious!”
Me: “Why would I pretend to be your boyfriend?”
She explained that a guy from her department had been asking her out for weeks. She had rejected him several times, but he kept insisting that she give him a chance.
She wanted him to believe she was already in a relationship so he would stop bothering her.
Me: “And out of all the men on this campus, you chose me?”
Chloe: “You're my best friend. I trust you, and everybody already thinks we're dating anyway.”
Me: “That's because you keep stealing food from my plate!”
Chloe: “Exactly. We already behave like a couple.”
I laughed and shook my head.
Me: “What's the catch?”
Chloe: “There's no catch. We pretend to date until next Thursday. We hold hands in public, attend a few campus events together, and act normal.”
Me: “And what happens if you start developing feelings?”
She burst out laughing.
Chloe: “Please! You're not even my type.”
I put a hand on my chest. 😢
Me: “Wow. After everything I've done for you?”
She laughed even harder.
Chloe: “Relax. It's only one week!”
Eventually, I agreed, but we made one rule: neither of us was allowed to develop real feelings or make the situation unnecessarily complicated.
We shook hands to seal the deal.
On Friday morning, Chloe arrived at my apartment, grabbed my hand, and announced that we were officially a couple.
Before we left, she looked at me seriously.
Chloe: “Remember, we're supposed to make this believable.”
Me: “Don't worry. I'm an excellent actor.”
She smiled.
Chloe: “Good. Then kiss me on the cheek.”
I smiled inwardly.
Me: “Huh?”
She started laughing.
Chloe: “I'm joking! Look at your face!”
I grabbed my backpack and walked toward the door.
Me: “This week is going to be the longest week of my life.”
I had absolutely no idea how right I was.

Wait, These Guys Reed Richards, Black Bolt, Captain Marvel known as the Illuminati defeated THANOS in their universe… but what happened next was a complete nightmare.
These weren’t ordinary heroes, They were the most powerful minds and fighters on Earth-838. They had already taken down the Mad Titan himself.
But when SCARLET WITCH arrived, their confidence turned into a death sentence.
Black Bolt couldn’t even speak, Reed Richards was torn apart, Captain Marvel was crushed beneath a statue.
Wanda destroyed them one by one, barely giving them time to react, and the scariest part? She wasn’t even fighting her own body.
If Wanda could erase a team that defeated Thanos, was anyone in the MCU truly safe from her?
