Happy Birthday to you, burnaboy
We have only been friends for a little over one year, but you have already given more than ₦300 million for various projects.
You successfully funded the renovation of the University of Jos hostel study area and built standard toilets there. You also funded the renovation of the Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa clinic.
We are currently working on a project at Odiokwu Community in Ahoada West LGA, Rivers State. So far, we have spent close to ₦200 million on it, and it is still not finished... all funded by you.
We plan to start the Ogbogolo Community project immediately after this one. Burna Boy has already agreed to fund it because it is his village.
We are still planning many more projects with Burna Boy’s support to ensure public school children get access to quality education.
Join me as I celebrate the Greatest of All Time. Happy Birthday, burnaboy
The Greatest of All Time!
I WAS BORN AND BROUGHT UP BY HAUSA PARENTS, I SPEAK HAUSA, I AM HAUSA!
I hardly watch VDM’s videos because, at times, he comes across as very self-centered.
But today, I sat down and watched his 13-minute, 50-second video on Hausa-speaking tribes, and those who watched it will understand exactly what I mean.
To be sincere, very few influencers from Arewa would come out and say some of the things he said in that video.
Now, not everything VDM mentioned is accurate, and I do not agree with every point he made.
However, there were important messages buried in that conversation that many people are choosing to ignore.
The part that struck me most was when he said, “They don’t even know better.”
The painful truth is that, in many cases, we really don’t.
We praise people who should be held accountable.
We attack and insult people who question leadership or demand better governance.
We sometimes develop the mindset that if life is going well for us personally, then everyone else’s struggles are not our concern.
What was even more interesting was how some people watched only the first minute of the video before rushing to the comment section to insult him.
That is exactly how many of us approach issues. We react before we listen. We conclude before we understand.
And because we often struggle to speak honestly about our own realities, we end up waiting for outsiders to say the things we should be discussing ourselves.
Whether you agree with VDM or not, there is value in listening, reflecting, and separating the message from the messenger.
May Allah guide us all, increase us in wisdom, and help us confront our challenges with honesty and sincerity.

This country will humble you.
You wake up, you try to stay positive, you tell yourself things are moving. Then you see this and everything stops.
Retired Major General Abubakar Rabe was k!dn@pped on May 30th in Matazu LGA, Katsina State while on his way to a wedding. He spent his entire career as the voice of the Nigerian Armed Forces. He briefed this nation on security operations for decades. And he d!3d in the hands of b@ndits.
Yesterday those same b@ndits walked out of the forest, dropped his remains and walked back into the Matazu forest. Unchallenged. Unbothered. In broad daylight.
Look at the pictures. Security personnel were right there mounting guard at the burial. The same people who could not stop those b@ndits from taking this man. The same forces that watched them walk back into that bush free.
This is not a movie. This is Nigeria 2026.
These people operate with a confidence that should terrify every single one of us. They know the terrain. They know the timing. And according to Sheikh Gumi, the government knows exactly who they are and where they are.
At this point it is becoming very difficult to say he is wrong.
A retired General d!3d in their hands and his
k!ll3rs went home.
What exactly is going on in this country?
🚨 VDM SENDS POWERFUL MESSAGE TO THOSE WHO WANT THIS MOVEMENT TO FAIL
They woke up angry. Angry that the Ratels were not teargassed. Angry that thousands of Nigerians gathered at Karu Bridge, chanted Bandits must go! T3rrorists must go! Kidn@ppers must go! and went home safely. Their plan for chaos failed so they turned to lies and fake stories.
VDM addressed them directly.
He shut down every "Tinubu must go" chant himself at that protest. He said this movement is not about politics. It is about b@ndits, t3rrorists and kidn@ppers who are destroying Nigeria. That is the only fight here.
He also said some people believe a real protest must end with tear gas, police attacks and dramatic videos trending online. He rejected that completely. He said he will never put his people in harm's way for content and social media clout.
That is why he ended the protest early. A pregnant woman was stuck in that traffic. People had emergencies and lives to live. He said your rights end where another person's rights begin. That is what real leadership looks like.
The ₦100 million story and the fake military protection claims are propaganda from people who are terrified of how strong this movement has become. This movement is united by one goal... to see Nigeria change. No personal gain. No political ambition. Just the urgent fight to stop the k!ll!ng of farmers, the abduction of children and the beheading of teachers.
To every Ratel...when VDM says go home, go home. Discipline is what separates a real movement from a riot.
The next protest location is coming. Stay ready.
They are angry we were not teargassed. That anger says everything. 🙌
🚨THEY GRABBED MACHETES AND WENT INTO THE BUSH. BOTH VICTIMS CAME OUT ALIVE
In Umuahia, Abia State around June 10th
Six Fulani herdsmen kidnapped two people and dragged them into the bush. They called demanding ₦10 million ransom.
Ohuhu youths community didn't waste time, they picked up machetes, clubs and hunting dogs and entered that bush from all angles calling the victims by name.
Police, vigilantes and forest guards moved with them.
The kidnappers ran and left the victims behind.
Both people came out alive.
The story didn't come online.
A Yoruba man who lives in Abia State saw this and said he is ashamed of his own people. He said when kidnappers took those children and teachers into the bush in Oyo State, the youths couldn't go in after them. He said that shame is what he carries till today.
In Oyo State, the bush still has their people.
Arewa Youth President, we saw your video.
You warned VeryDarkMan to stay out of Abuja and relocate his protest to Edo State. You said the North is ready. You called it a warning.
Let us ask you a simple question... who made you the owner of Abuja?
Abuja belongs to every Nigerian. VDM has the same right to stand in Abuja as you do. The constitution already settled that. Section 40 gives every Nigerian the right to protest. Section 41 gives every Nigerian the right to move freely. You cannot take back what the constitution has already given.
So when you say the North is ready... ready for what? To stop a peaceful protest? To intimidate a citizen who is speaking the truth? Then you are not a leader. You are just someone protecting a government that has failed your own people.
Because let us be honest about this North you are defending.
Bandits are killing people in Zamfara. Children are being kidnapped in Sokoto. Farmers cannot go to their own farms in Katsina. You yourself mentioned over 420 girls rescued in Borno ... 420 girls that should never have been taken in the first place. This is happening under the same government you are protecting from protest.
You are not protecting the North. You are protecting Tinubu.
The same high fuel price is killing Northern families. The same broken schools are failing Northern children. The same bad hospitals are burying Northern people. Suffering does not know your tribe. Poverty does not respect your region.
VDM is not your enemy. He never was. Your enemy is the government that has collected your taxes, borrowed money in your name, and given you nothing in return.
The North deserves better than this. Better than a spokesman who threatens the voice of the people instead of questioning leaders.
History will remember who stood with the people. Make sure you are on the right side.
🚨 THE TRUTH NOBODY ELSE WAS BOLD ENOUGH TO SAY
VDM didn’t go to the Ministry of Defence to fight the soldiers. He went there to remind them of a truth they have been avoiding.
He looked them in the eye and said:
“After 35 years of service, there will be nothing to show for it. You have a gun you cannot use to protect your own family but you are using it to protect this government. They travel by flight. You travel by road because you cannot afford it.”
That is not an attack. That is a mirror.
These are men who leave their families, wear uniforms every day, and risk their lives... for a government that does not lose a single night’s sleep over their welfare.
The problem was never the men in uniform. The problem is the system that recruited them, underpaid them, and then turned them against the very people who share their struggles.
To the men in uniform, the clock is ticking. One day the uniform will come off. The salary will stop. And you will return to the same villages, the same roads, and the same insecurity you spent your careers protecting the politicians from.
When that day comes, the only question left will be: Did you do the right thing when it still mattered?
🚨VDM DROPS A TRUTH EVERY NIGERIAN NEEDS TO HEAR TODAY
VeryDarkMan just spoke and this one is different. This is not about one man or one case. This is about all of us.
He said Nigerians want revolution. He agrees. But he asked one simple question. Where is the north in this revolution?
Igbo youths are ready. Yoruba youths are ready. Niger Delta youths are ready. But the north is the largest population in Nigeria. Without them, any revolution will collapse before it even starts.
And politicians planned it that way.
The moment Nigerians start marching, politicians will rush to the north with one message. "These people are not fighting for change. They are fighting against Islam. They are coming for your religion." That is the only weapon they need. Northern youths will rise against the revolution instead of joining it. And everything dies.
So ask yourself why the north has no good schools. No jobs. No roads. No infrastructure. VDM says it is not negligence. It is a strategy. Keep them poor. Keep them uneducated. Keep them hungry. So when the time comes they are easy to manipulate.
And Boko Haram? VDM says the government watches them bomb northern cities, r@pe women, k!dn@p children and does nothing. Because a north living in fear and chaos is a north that cannot think or organise against the real enemy.
Look at the contrast. The wealthiest men in Nigeria come from the north. But the north also has the most beggars. The most children out of school. The most suffering. Politicians drain the wealth and leave the poverty behind on purpose.
This is the trick they have been playing for years.
Make Igbo h8te Hausa. Make Yoruba distrust Hausa. Make Niger Delta see Hausa as enemy. Keep every tribe suspicious of the other. While nobody is watching the politicians steal Nigeria empty.
VDM broke down the numbers. About 5,000 politicians across every party. Police and military together around 1 million. Against nearly 300 million Nigerians. And somehow the 300 million are losing.
He said the solution is simple. Fight for the north to rise. Fight for their education. Fight for their jobs and infrastructure. Because a north that is strong and can think for itself is a north no politician can weaponise against you.
That is the only way this country moves forward.
Your enemy is not Hausa. Not Igbo. Not Yoruba. Not Christian. Not Muslim.
Your enemy has a private jet, a stolen budget, and a plan to keep you divided forever — The POLITICIANS.
Wake up.
We know that the DSS will not come to pick him,The welcoming is just to prove a point that we love him and we will protect him.
The DSS might also wait for today to pass before picking him but from the crowd they will experience today, they will know he is not just an ordinary person..
We won't allow anyone to intimidate him for speaking the truth.
Nigerians, Please Come to My Rescue!
I was one of the people who received ₦100,000 from that viral b@nd!t giveaway on Friday.
At first, I thought it was just cruise. When they asked for account numbers, I dropped mine for fun and never imagined they would actually send me money.
Now wahala has landed!
This morning, I received an email demanding ₦100 million in return. 😳
My people, where am I supposed to get ₦100 million from? The ₦100k has not even lasted 48 hours.
I was only trying my luck, not signing a lifetime contract of debt.
If anything happens to me, please tell them that "Eleribu Omo Ole Oni Giveaway" was not worth this stress. 💔
Man who collected 100k giveaway from bandits cries out after they asked him to send 100 million back.
🚨 BARRISTER MARSHALL HAS JUST PUT PRESIDENT TINUBU ON NOTICE REGARDING VERY DARK MAN.
Not because VDM broke any law. But because this government is allegedly planning to arrest him the moment he lands on Nigerian soil...a man whose only weapon has always been his voice.
Barrister Marshal Abubakar cited the Constitution directly. Section 39. Freedom of expression. The right to hold opinions and demand accountability. VDM didn't violate that ....he lived it.
So the question now is simple.
Will Tinubu respect the law he swore to uphold or will he use the DSS and Police to punish VDM for speaking truth?
Because arresting VDM doesn't just silence one person. It sends a message to every Nigerian who has ever dared to question power.
The world is not sleeping. Nigerians are not sleeping.
Touch him, and you answer to all of us.
Come home VDM. Ratels dey ground.
🚨 BREAKING NEWS 😳
Sheikh Gumi has come out openly to say that bandits need the money they collect from people. He said when you go to where they live they are not living large. They are just hungry for money.
He also said the Nigerian government never budgets anything for herdsmen and that is why they become bandits.
He is asking the government to keep talking with them.
But wait.
Thousands of Nigerians are dying every single day at the hands of these same bandits. And Gumi has been to their camp. He knows where they are. He has sat with them face to face.
He also said the government knows every single one of them by name and by location.
So the government knows them. Gumi knows where to find them. And Nigerians are still dying every day.
SPEECHLESS 😶
🚨TO PRESIDENT BOLA AHMED TINUBU AND SEYI TINUBU, ANSWER SINCERELY FROM YOUR HEARTS.
If you were in my position today...a common man struggling every single day under this difficult situation, trying to feed my family, buying expensive fuel for the generator, paying high for transportation, and dealing with rising house rent...would you vote for the president who brought all this suffering upon us?
Before you became president on May 29, 2023, life in Nigeria was already hard. But things were much cheaper for the common man. We could at least manage. Here are some prices from that time:
- Petrol: ₦185 to ₦198 per litre
- 50kg bag of rice: ₦35,000
- Crate of eggs: ₦2,500
- Loaf of bread: ₦500
- Cooking gas: ₦570 per kg
- $1 USD: Around ₦460
- Bag of pure water: ₦150
Transport was more affordable. Food was easier to buy. People could move around and run small businesses without so much stress.
Now, under your leadership, everything has become extremely expensive and life is full of suffering:
- Petrol: ₦1,250 to ₦1,400 per litre
- 50kg bag of rice: ₦70,000 to ₦95,000 or even higher
- Crate of eggs: ₦7,000 to ₦8,000
- Loaf of bread: Over 1,000
- Cooking gas: ₦1,800 to ₦2,200 per kg (12.5kg cylinder now costs ₦22,000 to ₦28,000 or more)
- House rent has increased sharply in many areas.
- Many other food items have doubled or tripled in price.
You removed the fuel subsidy that the common man benefited from directly. You claimed your government saved a lot of money from subsidy removal and sent more allocations to governors and local governments through FAAC. It's true that the money given to states increased greatly more than before.
But the truth is that this extra money only benefits the governors and local governments, not the poor masses. Governors use some to build roads and big projects that they can show for politics. They pay themselves high salaries, buy luxury cars, travel abroad, and enjoy personal benefits.
The poor masses see nothing from this money. We need cheap food on the table, cheap fuel for our generators and transport, cheap cooking gas to prepare meals, and affordable house rent so we are not thrown out on the streets. Roads may be useful, but they do not put food in our pots, lower the price of fuel or gas, or reduce house rent.
The suffering continues every day while the leaders enjoy the money.
We are not even talking about insecurity... You know the story.
So Tinubu, if you were in our position... facing this daily struggle with your family and seeing no relief... would you vote for a president who made life this hard?
Just be truthful to yourself.
This is one of the most important things VDM has said in a long time. 💔
He explained exactly how k!dnapping works in Nigeria. And it is not what most people think.
According to him, after they k!dn@p you,. They call your family with a ransom price. If your family is slow to pay, they record themselves beating you and send the video home. So your loved ones can watch you suffer and rush to find money.
But that is not even the worst part.
If the money does not come on time, they sell you to another group of k!dnappers. Like an animal. New group, new price. ₦10 million becomes ₦15 million or more. That group waits, nobody pays, they sell you again. Every time you change hands, the price goes up and the treatment gets worse.
This is slavery. It is happening in Nigerian bushes right now. In 2026. With a government in place.
VDM said these bushes can be reached with drones today. The technology is there. The money is there. But the same government that spends billions during elections cannot use that same energy to rescue its own citizens.
Then he talked about tribalism.
Yorubas are ignoring Tinubu's failures because he is Yoruba. Igbos would do the same for an Igbo president. Hausas did it with Buhari. Every tribe protects its own in power and looks away from the suffering. Then the next tribe enters and does the same thing. The cycle never stops. Only the people keep suffering.
We are not suffering because Nigeria has nothing. We are suffering because we keep choosing tribe over truth.
VDM's final word on 2027 was simple. If Tinubu continues, it will be a disaster.
🚨TINUBU'S DAUGHTER VISITED THE WIDOW OF THE TEACHER BEHEADED IN OYO STATE WITH 2 BAGS OF RICE AND ₦500,000.
Before this visit, Deji Adeyanju wrote a formal letter. On official letterhead. Signed and stamped.
Addressed directly to President Tinubu at Aso Rock. His family had one simple request. Find the body of their husband and father.
Let them bury him with dignity. That was it.
A widow who cannot bury her husband got rice. Two boys who watched their father get beheaded by t3rrorists got rice.
This is the empathy of a government that has completely lost touch with the people it governs. The letter is there. The signature is there. The NBA stamp is there. The date is there... May 25, 2026. Everything is documented.
They asked for the President to personally come. He didn't come.
They asked for security agencies to recover the remains. The body is still not found. They asked for the remaining abducted victims to be rescued. They are still in captivity.
But the rice arrived. The ₦500k arrived. This is not governance. This is not leadership. This is not even basic human decency.
A man died serving this country as a teacher. The least his family deserves is to put him in the ground.
They can't even do that.
